The 2021 Australian Guineas looks an even contest with Tagaloa and Aysar finishing first and second the CS Hayes Stakes, while WA galloper Dom To Shoot comes through the same race.

Zou Dancer the Filly adds some interest to the race with a 2kg allowance on the boys after winning the Vanity by six lengths a fortnight ago.

2021 Australian Guineas Tips

Australian Guineas 2021 Best Bet - Aysar

Last chance, this is his last chance to win a big race with perfect conditions all in his favour.

He draws barrier two which looks to suit, getting a beautiful smother early as he did in the Carbine Club where he looked all over a winner over the track and trip.

Aysar loomed first-up to be beaten by a subsequent Group One winner, while he could not get past Tagaloa who had all the favours as well second-up in the CS Hayes Stakes.

Third-up last prep he was second in the Caulfield Guineas over the mile, finding similar conditions here, and getting a barrier advantage over the favourite.

Australian Guineas 2021 Next Best Bet - Zou Dancer

She has the natural speed to sit forward in the run from the gate and possibly sit outside the leader or slot in for some cover if a couple from the inside decide to go a little hard.

Zou Dancer was miles too good for them in the Vanity, and although a little slower than the CS Hayes Stakes, she is on the trajectory to improve, whereas the boys have just about reached their mark.

Australia's in-form rider Jamie Kah takes the mount, and with a filly that sits in the first half of the field, this is where Jamie's best stats are at.

If she can find cover or sit one or two off the fence, this is the one that Aysar is going to have to get past.

Australian Guineas 2021 Value Bet - Dom To Shoot

This WA galloper is Group One placed at WFA level and has drawn the perfect gate for his racing pattern.

He had to get too far back in the CS Hayes but was by far the best closer in a race that was dominated by two horses that were in the first four in running.

This time, he can settle midfield or even a touch closer as he did in the Kingston Town Stakes two back, giving him a much better opportunity to make the the necessary ground.

Dom To Shoot is the x-factor of the race and with the Pike magic, it would be no shock to see him run a very big race.
