A superstar Kiwi who looks to resemble the likes of Melody Belle who won this race in 2019 in wet conditions, but this time the Kiwi jockey will be Australian based superstar James McDonald who is in red hot form.

A last start winner of the Group One Arrowfield Stud Plate, absolutely beating up on her rivals with a superior turn of foot while prior form is in race such as the New Zealand Derby (did not stay).

Third in the Thousand Guineas on a very wet track at Caulfield, she should be improved getting back to the mile at Flemington where we saw her win at two starts ago in the Edward Manifold.

She plummets to 49kg which for a good sized filly is essentially a winning weight, so I expect her to roll forward and attempt to skip away on the bend with no weight.

No rain would be preferential for her, but nonetheless she is unbeaten on soft ground and has put up two creditable performances on heavy ground, so hoping that her weight plays apart in coping with the track if the rain does arrive.

This is the mare that all preparation has looked like peaking in this very race, resuming with a big placing before having little luck in the Blazer Stakes at her subsequent start.

Third-up now and coming from a the Hawkes stable, they set their horses for Grand Final Day and this is certainly it for this girl.

With a negative race pattern, she is always a horse that is going to need some luck but we saw Colette come from near last to win this last year and this girl could do something similar.
