Tuesday's ITV Racing schedule features three excellent Grade One races, the first two coming to us live from Leopardstown. The third and final top-level race of the day will be the Challow Hurdle, a two-and-a-half-mile novices' hurdle which has been won by greats like Wichita Lineman, Reve De Sivola and Denman at the start of their illustrious careers.

Six talented novices will lock horns in Tuesday's renewal of the Challow Hurdle. Here's our guide to the race and our best betting tip.

2020 Challow Hurdle Runners

After getting done for finishing pace by Soaring Glory on his hurdles debut at Chepstow, Bravemansgame broke his duck with a comfortable 11-length victory at Exeter. Paul Nicholls' charge then announced his intentions for the rest of the season with a sparkling victory here at Newbury, powering clear of Es Perfecto to score by seven lengths.

Star Gate really caught the eye when winning at Chepstow on his hurdles debut. Evan Williams' charge then faced just three rivals on heavy ground at Sandown, but pulled clear in the style of a very classy operator to secure a maiden Graded title in the Winter Novices' Hurdle. Of the six runners in this Grade One, Star Gate and Bravemansgame sit highest in the 2021 Ballymore Novices' Hurdle betting at 16/1.

Former Aintree bumper winner, The Glancing Queen made a pleasing start to life over hurdles at Warwick last month. Alan King's mare was backed into 4/6 before the off, and dominated the race from start to finish, beating a future winner by an easy eight lengths.

Like Star Gate, Does He Know brings Grade Two-winning form into the Challow Hurdle, having won the Hyde Novices' Hurdle during Cheltenham's Showcase Meeting. Kim Bailey's charge has racked up three impressive wins over hurdles so far this term, and he's a strong stayer who has to be respected.

Wilde About Oscar is another who's unbeaten so far this season, having followed a reappearance win at Uttoxeter, with an emphatic victory under a penalty at Aintree. The form of that Aintree race looks really poor, but Dan Skelton's mount was miles better than them that day, and looks to have more improvement left in his locker.

The final runner in this Grade One is Enfant Roi, who's recently made the switch from France to Sophie Leech's yard. The winner of four of his six starts over fences, Enfant Roi failed to win any of his outings over the smaller obstacles, and he's the only runner who can't be given a chance.

2020 Challow Hurdle Tips

This really is a very tricky race to unravel. One thing we can guarantee is that the 2020 Challow Hurdle is going to make for fantastic viewing, and could produce yet another top prospect.

Many winners of this race go on to run over three miles later in the season, so stamina will be paramount, especially on softening ground. So, while the four behind him in the betting are greatly respected, I'm going to take a chance on the strong-travelling BRAVEMANSGAME continuing his stark upward trajectory.

Bravemansgame has improved massively with each of his three starts this season, and the form of all three races is very solid. Soaring Glory placed third in a Grade Two on his last start at Ascot. Runswick Bay, who was floundering eleven-lengths adrift of Harry Cobden's mount when they met at Exeter, came out and won on his very next start.

On his most recent run here at Newbury, Bravemansgame was in with four horses who'd already won that season, and Diocletian - who since bolted up by eleven lengths. The favourite, however, made his rivals look distinctly average, winning as easily as he pleased which still hard on the bridle.

I have no doubting his future lies over three miles, and he'll make up into a lovely staying chaser in time. For now, Bravemansgame is an extremely exciting prospect over hurdles, and victory in the Challow would put him bang in the picture for any of the novice hurdles races at the Cheltenham Festival.

The top five in the betting here all look smart prospects moving forward. I just feel the conditions of this race will suit Bravemansgame best, and he's going to be my best bet at 15/8.
