ITV Racing Tips - Saturday 11th September
Race 1 - Portland Handicap Tips
Venturous E/W1:45pm Doncaster Portland Handicap (Class 2) 5½fGET 20/1 HERE
18+ only. Ts and Cs apply.
The value bet here could be VENTUROUS, who's been running brilliantly in recent weeks. David Barron's eight-year-old clocked an RPR of 108 when finishing sixth at Newcastle in June. Connor Beasley's mount then reared leaving the stalls at York, but flew home late on to snatch an unlikely victory.
Venturous then finished a goof fourth at Chester off a mark of 100, where a slow start put him on the back foot straight away. Despite hitting the line hard, the handicapper has dropped Barron's star sprinter a pound, and he's won twice here at Doncaster during his career. 20/1 looks a nice price.
Race 2 - Stand Cup Stakes Tips
Alounak2:00pm Chester tote+ Stand Cup Stakes (Listed Race) 1m4½fGET 5/2 HERE
New customers only. 18+ T&Cs and wagering requirements apply.
Alignak hasn't been seen since winning this race 12 months ago, and Richard Kingscote's mount is respected. ALOUNAK has race-fitness on his side, however, and Andrew Balding's six-year-old is in the form of his life.
After finally breaking his duck on British soil in a handicap at Haydock, Alounak was unlucky to only finish fourth in the Glorious Stakes, where he ran into traffic two from home. Balding's charge then powered up the Knavesmire to finish a really strong third in the Ebor.
Plenty of rain's due to his the Roodee on Friday, and the softer it gets the better for Alounak. David Probert's mount is the one to beat.
Race 3 - Champagne Stakes Tips
Reach For The Moon2:20pm Doncaster Champagne Stakes (Group 2) 7fGET 4/5 HERE
18+ only. Ts and Cs apply.
We've now got a mouth-watering showdown between two prime contenders for next year's 2000 Guineas to enjoy, and the fact that Lusail has to give three pounds to REACH FOR THE MOON has to push the ball firmly into the favourite's court.
Frankie Dettori's mount finished second to two classy sorts on his first two starts. Reach For The Moon then thumped Harrow - who won the 2-Y-O Stakes here on Thursday - by four lengths at Newbury, before registering a similarly emphatic win in the Solario at Sandown. Lusail will make him work hard for it, but I expect Reach For The Moon will be a little too strong on the day.
Race 4 - Homeserve Handicap Tips
Mancini2:35pm Chester Homeserve Handicap (Class 3) 1m6½fGET 11/4 HERE
18+ only. BetVictor is licensed and regulated as an online gaming operator in Great Britain, Ireland and Gibraltar. Gamble responsibly. Terms and Conditions apply.
MANCINI was sent off as the odds-on favourite to win this race off 94 last season, but was narrowly beaten back in third. Ian Williams' seven-year-old has struggled for much of the season. He did run very well last time out here at Chester, finishing second to Solent Gateway when giving the winner over a stone.
Mancini returns for a second crack at this prize sitting five pounds lower in the weights, and David Probert will fancy his chances of another winner on Saturday.

Race 6 - Park Stakes Tips
Lanequash3:00pm Doncaster Cazoo Park Stakes (Group 2) 7fGET 9/4 HERE
18+ only. Ts and Cs apply.
LANEQUASH looked a potential Guineas contender when he finished a close second to New Mandate in the Flying Scotsman Stakes at this meeting 12 months ago. Roger Varian's charge then finished last on heavy ground in the Horris Hill Stakes, and missed the first half of his three-year-old season.
Jim Crowley's mount made his return in the Hungerford Stakes at Newbury, and ran a screamer to finish within a length of Sacred. Lanequash is sure to improve for that return run. He's the highest-rated runner in the field and will be getting four pounds from four of his five rivals. He should get back to winning ways.
