We take a look at the televised races at Punchestown, Cork and Kelso on Sunday, and provide readers with our ITV Racing tips.

We may have lost Huntingdon's Peterborough Chase meeting to a waterlogged track, but Sunday's televised action really is unmissable. A whole host of top horse clash in the John Durkan, a Cheltenham Festival favourite makes his reappearance at Cork, and punters can sink their teeth into another wide-open renewal of the Scottish Borders National.

Without further ado, as we now have ten races to cover, let's jump right into our betting tips!

Race 1 - Listed Mares Novice Hurdle Tips

Botani E/W1:10pm Punchestown Voler La Vedette Mares Novice Hurdle (Listed Race) 2m4fGET 16/1 HERE

We all know what a master Willie Mullins is at training mares, and Finest Evermore has looked useful on all three of her starts this season. I'm expecting the favourite to win. However, with three paid places available, I fancy an each-way punt on BOTANI.

Colm Murphy's six-year-old is a second-season novice, but was only beaten six-lengths in a good-qualty Listed race as a novice last term. Having begun this season with two narrow defeats, Botani was chucked into a Grade Three at Navan over this trip, where she did well to finish fifth.

Murphy's mare was in with some strong geldings that day, and may have even finished closer to the winner, Fakiera has she not made a mistake at the last. That experience should stand her in good stead and I think Botani is good enough to hit the frame here.

Race 2 - Hilly Way Chase Tips

Chacun Pour Soi1:25pm Cork Kerry Group Hilly Way Chase (Grade 2) 2m½fGET 2/5 HERE
New customers only. 18+ T&Cs and wagering requirements apply.

Willie Mullins has won 11 of the last 13 editions of this Grade Two, and would probably have won in 2018 too, had odds-on favourite Great Field not taken a fall. CHACUN POUR SOI will look to follow in the footsteps of Douvan and Un De Sceaux on Sunday, and I see no reason why he won't win.

Chacun Pour Soi beat Min in the Grade One Dublin Chase last February, and currently heads the betting for the 2021 Champion Chase. Paul Townend has decided to go to Cork to ride Chacun Pour Soi, instead of Min in the John Durkan, so that should tell you how highly the team rate this eight-year-old. Unless he falls, Chacun Pour Soi will win.

Race 4 - Mares Novice Chase Tips

Scarlet And Dove1:55pm Cork Kerry Group Irish EBF Mares' Novice Chase (Grade 3) 2mGET 4/1 HERE

I fancy a punt on SCARLET AND DOVE, who bumped into a useful mare of Willie Mullins' on her chasing debut. Joseph O'Brien's mare jumped well during the early stages, but was hampered at the third-last and hit the final flight as she tried to chase down Yukon Lil.

Scarlet And Dove showed ability as a novice hurdler, winning well on heavy ground at Navan. If she can tidy up her jumping, then there's no reason why she can't land this Grade Three.

Race 5 - Christmas Handicap Hurdle Tips

R'Evelyn Pleasure E/W2:10pm Punchestown Christmas Handicap Hurdle 2m4fGET 10/1 HERE

This won't be a big betting race for me, but one who I think has been overlooked is R'EVELYN PLEASURE. Sean O'Brien's eight-year-old is down to a career-low mark of 111 over hurdles, and ran up to an RPR of 117 off this mark at Thurles last month. He'll love the testing ground, and should run well at a double-figure price.

Race 6 - Kerry Group Stayers Novice Hurdle Tips

Sayce Gold2:30pm Cork Kerry Group Stayers Novice Hurdle (Grade 3) 3mGET 3/1 HERE
New customers only. 18+ T&Cs and wagering requirements apply.

SAYCE GOLD may be the oldest runner in this field, but Michael Winter's mare brings the strongest form to the table, and I think her experience will stand her in good stead in what will be an attritional race.

Having cruised to victory in a bumper, Sayce Gold looked a class above her rivals on her hurdles debut at Thurles, hacking up on heavy ground to win by eight lengths. Darragh O'Keeffe's mount is an experienced point-to-pointer and should have no trouble seeing out this trip. Sayce Gold looks the most solid betting proposition.

Race 7 - Paris Pike Novices' Chase Tips

Mahlervous' run at Sandown was boosted when Severano, who narrowly held off Warren Greatrex's charge, hacked up at Exeter on Friday. Based on that run, the favourite must have a big chance. However, I don't trust his jumping or his stamina, so I'm going to side with ELF DE RE.

Having run well behind two future winners on his chase debut, Sandy Thompson's six-year-old was backed into favouritism second time out. The writing was on the wall early that day, as Elf De Re made several early mistakes and couldn't recover his confidence.

Ryan Mania's mount showed plenty of promise as a novice hurdles, losing out narrow to a very strong stayer in Kiltealy Briggs at Kelso, before finishing second in the Grade Two Premier Novices' Hurdle. This step up in trip should suit, and if he jumps the first few well, I'm confident he'll give punters a good run for their money.

Race 8 - Low Low Handicap Tips

Sullane Hill E/W3:00pm Cork Low Low Handicap Hurdle 2mGET 8/1 HERE
New customers only. 18+ T&Cs and wagering requirements apply.

Ambrose McCurtain takes five-pounds off top-weight SULLANE HILL, and that could be the difference as Paddy O'Connor's eight-year-old looks to land a hat-trick. Having lost out to the incredibly well-treated Dreal Deal here, Sullane Hill has secured two wins of his own, and ran up to an RPR of 127 on his last start. Another big performance would not be a surprise.

Race 9 - Scottish Borders National Handicap Chase Tips

Bigironship returns to defend the title he won last year, but has competition at the top of the betting, where Just Your Type and Duc De Grissay are both well-fancied. Personally, I think RED GIANT should be rivalling the market leader for favouritism, and he looks to be the value bet in this race.

Having struggled around Perth during August and September, Jennie Candlish's nine-year-old relished the switch to Sedgefield, bolting up in the Durham National. Despite a seven-pound hike in the weights, Red Giant ran well again at Catterick two weeks ago, finishing second to Lough Derg Jewel.

Red Giant ran up to an RPR of 131 that day, carrying 11-7 on his back. Sean Quinlan's mount runs off the same mark today, but has just 10-11 to shoulder, over a trip which should be more suitable. I'd be surprised if he didn't challenge for the win.

Race 10 - Old House Flat Race Tips

Supreme Jett E/W3:40pm Punchestown Old House Kill (Pro/Am) Flat Race 2mGET 8/1 HERE
New customers only. 18+ T&Cs and wagering requirements apply.

The bookies have this as a straight fight between Aslukwoodhavit and Champagne Sparkles, but I'd rather take an each-way punt on SUPREME JET, who ran up to a cracking RPR of 93 when winning a point-to-point and his young jockey takes a valuable seven-pounds off his back.
