I'm tempted to take a punt on GULLIVER, who looked a class above his rivals when retaining his Sprint Trophy crown at York last time out. Despite pretty poor form throughout the season, David O'Meara's charge powered to a second successive victory in that Heritage Handicap, carrying 9-7 to a two-length victory.
Gulliver has twice won that race on soft ground, and some extra cut in the surface is clearly important to him. This looks a wide-open race on paper, and I'm confident that Danny Tudhope's mount will take this step up to Listed grade in his stride.

Paul Nicholls has two classy mares sitting near the top of the betting for this handicap, and neither can be discounted. Perfect Myth has to be given a big chance too, but I think it's Nicholls' title-rival, Nicky Henderson who might be the one to side with.
Having placed on four of her five starts in 2019, SUNRISE RUBY has secured two impressive wins since returning in September. Although she was odds-on on both occasions, Henderson's mare has run up to marks in the high-120s, and clearly relished the drier ground conditions. Nico de Boinville's mount goes well right-handed and looks very well-handicapped with just 10-7 on her back.
This won't be a big betting race for me at all, as it looks incredibly unpredictable. I'm going to take a small chance on BORN WITH PRIDE, who's endured a torid season, despite looking like a star in the making as a juvenile. I'm hoping this drop in trip and the introduction of cheek-pieces will make a big difference.
Grand Sancy could be a chaser to follow this season. (Getty)

GRAND SANCY made his chasing debut in Grade One company last season, and was only beaten two lengths on his second start in the Wayward Lad at Kempton.
Following three defeats, Grand Sancy got off the mark over fences in comfortable fashion at Fontwell. On his reappearance, Harry Cobden's mount clocked an impressive RPR of 157 to win a Listed contest at Chepstow. Even giving a stone to Ga Law, this looks to be Grand Sancy's to lose.

This is shaping up to be a fantastic race, with classy sorts like Call Me Lord, Summerville Boy and Thomas Darby entered. However, they will all have to give weight to CH'TIBELLO, and I think that could make all the difference.
Dan Skelton's former County Hurdle winner finished third in two Grade Two's last season, including a narrow defeat to Call Me Lord at Cheltenham. Ch'Tibello has run brilliantly in defeat on both his previous starts over course-and-distances. He goes well fresh and won the County Hurdle on his first start following his last wind-op.

Solo and Master Debonair have to be respected. Yet, just like in the previous race, the weights clearly favour SCEAU ROYAL, who will gain three pounds on his younger rivals, despite sitting six-pounds higher in the ratings.
Alan King's charge returned to hurdling with an excellent victory in the Welsh Champion Hurdle last month, where Daryl Jacob's mount surged clear of Ballyandy after the final flight to win by almost three lengths. Despite having Grade One chase victory on his CV, I actually think Sceau Royal is more comfortable over the smaller obstacles, and he'll love the good ground around Wincanton this weekend.
Kingbrook (left) bounds clear to win the Old Rowley Cup. (Getty)
Despite sweating up markedly before the off, KINGBROOK made a winning debut over this trip in the Old Rowley Cup. Richard Kingscote's mount sprang from the pack to hit the front four out and, although he was being chased down approaching the line, you always felt like Kingbrook was doing enough to win.
Ian Williams' charge was pushed up the weights by six-pounds for that win. Kingbrook still only has 8-7 to shoulder here, though, and Kingscote takes the ride once again.
I'm also going to take a punt on another Williams' runner, this time RHYTHMIC INTENT for Stuart Williams. Before a shocking run under top-weight last time out, Williams' four-year-old had enjoyed a strong season, winning at York and Newbury, while also placing fourth behind Euchen Glen in the Old Borough Cup.
Rhythmic Intent was well-beaten here behind Ocean Wind two weeks ago. William Buick's mount has 18-pounds less on his back this time around, and he'll relish the extra cut in the ground.
Race 8 - Badger Beers Silver Trophy Tips
Paul Nicholls has a very strong hand to play in the final ITV Race of the day, as he targets his eleventh victory in this handicap in the last 22 years.
