The third day of the Cheltenham Festival is headlined by the Stayers' Hurdle. 11-year-old Sire Du Berlais caused an almighty shock when he won this race in 2023 and the betting for next year's renewal looks incredibly open.

2024 Stayers' Hurdle Entries
Teahupoo was the beaten favourite at Cheltenham this year and Gordon Elliott's star is the 8/1 market leader for the 2024 renewal. Nicky Henderson's Marie's Rock sits second in the betting, ahead of two of this season's most promising novice hurdles, Corbetts Cross and Sandor Clegane.
Two-time winner, Flooring Porter could only finish fourth in 2023 and Gavin Cromwell's star can be backed at 20/1. Home By The Lee and Blazing Khal could also return to Cheltenham, following their defeats in 2023.
A second Charles Byrnes runner, Shoot First sits prominently in the ante-post betting, along with Willie Mullins' Gaelic Warrior. Mullins could also run Sir Gerhard and The Nice Guy in next year's Stayers' Hurdle.
Other possible Cheltenham Festival runners include Three Card Brag, Gold Tweet and Hermes Allen. Facile Vega, Asterion Forlonge, Queens Brook and Iroko also feature in the ante-post market.
