Day two at the Cheltenham Festival is headlined by the Champion Chase. Energumene successfully defended his Queen Mother crown in 2023 and Willie Mullins star is the joint-favourite to make it three wins in a row in 2024.

2024 Champion Chase Entries
For the second year in a row, Energumene ran out an emphatic winner of the Champion Chase this season. Willie Mullins' star currently tops the betting for the 2024 renewal, alongside stablemate El Fabiolo, who won the Arkle at Cheltenham in 2023.
Constitution Hill is yet to even jump a fence, but that hasn't stopped the bookies from making Nicky Henderson's star the third favourite for the Champion Hurdle. Constitution Hill's stablemate, Jonbon was beaten by El Fabiolo in the 2023 Arkle and the two could renew rivalries in the Queen Mother.
Edwardstone could return for another crack at the Champion Chase in 2024. As could Editeur Du Gite, who finished third in this season's renewal at the Cheltenham Festival.
Other possible runners include Willie Mullins' quartet of Dysart Dynamo, Blue Lord, Gentleman De Mee and Saint Roi. Mighty Potter, Banbridge and Haddex Des Obeaux also feature in the ante-post market.
