Here's week five of our Eye On Cheltenham series, highlighting Festival market movers from between November 26th and December 2nd.

Newbury, Newcastle and Fairyhouse staged important meetings this week, with three Grade Ones taking place and a number of other significant races. Here are 13 Cheltenham Festival market movers from the last seven days.

Eye On Cheltenham 2025 - Week 5


Lossiemouth


In a thrilling showdown between two Cheltenham Festival winners, it was Lossiemouth who got the better of Teahupoo to win the Hatton's Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse. Willie Mullins announced at the start of the season that his Mares' and Triumph Hurdle winner would be going down the Champion Hurdle route this season, and Lossiemouth was cut into favouritism for that Championship race on the back of Sunday's victory.

Sir Gino


The previous day at Newcastle saw Sir Gino run out a hugely impressive winner of the Fighting Fifth Hurdle. Nicky Henderson's star could now remain over hurdles this season, depending on what happens with Constitution Hill, and bet365 was one of many bookmakers to cut Sir Gino into 4/1 second-favouritism for the 2025 Champion Hurdle.

Anzadam


Joe and Marie Donnelly could have three Champion Hurdle contenders this season, after Anzadam bolted up in the WillowWarm Hurdle at Fairyhouse on Saturday. Anzadam is now best priced at 25/1 for the Champion Hurdle, someway adrift of fellow flagbearers Sir Gino and defending champion, State Man.

Strong Leader


Liverpool Hurdle winner, Strong Leader got his season off to the perfect start by claiming a comfortable victory in the Long Distance Hurdle at Newbury. Olly Murphy's star was trimmed in the betting for the 2025 Stayers' Hurdle after Friday's victory, with bet365 now listing Strong Leader as their 12/1 second-favourite.

Karniquet


Last Tuesday's card at Thurles opened with a bang, as Karniquet ran out an impressive winner on his hurdling debut. Willie Mullins' newcomer then entered the betting for the 2025 Supreme Novices' Hurdle at an opening price of 25/1.

The New Lion


Dan Skelton's star made it two-from-two over hurdles with an impressive victory at Newbury on Saturday. The New Lion will take in the Challow Hurdle on his way to Cheltenham, and Skelton's novice is available at 16/1 and 25/1 for the Turners' Novices' Hurdle and the Supreme respectively.

Regent's Stroll


Regent's Stroll made his highly-anticipated hurdling debut at Newbury on Friday and ran out an easy winner under Harry Cobden. Paul Nicholls' star will likely step up in trip after that win, and was cut into 25/1 for both the Turners and the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle.

Let It Rain


Following a runner-up finish on her hurdles debut, Let It Rain made no mistake when scoring at Wetherby on Wednesday. Dan Skelton's rising star was then cut into 16/1 for the 2025 Mares' Novices' Hurdle.

The Jukebox Man


Placed in Grade Ones at Cheltenham and Aintree in the spring, The Jukebox Man put in a flawless jumping display on his first start over fences to land the John Francome Novices' Chase at Newbury on Friday. Pauling's star was immediately cut into 12/1 for the 2025 Brown Advisory Novices' Chase by BoyleSports.

Croke Park


Gordon Elliott watched Croke Park take down stablemate Firefox to claim Grade One glory in the Drinmore Novices' Chase at Fairyhouse on Sunday. Croke Park then saw his odds for the Brown Advisory Novices' Chase cut into 20/1 from 33s, with Firefox drifting out to 12/1 in the Arkle betting.

Caldwell Potter


A Grade One winning novice hurdler for Gordon Elliott, Caldwell Potter began life with Paul Nicholls with an easy victory on his chasing debut at Carlisle on Sunday. Nicholls' expensive recruit was then cut into 33/1 for the Arkle and 20/1 for the 2025 Brown Advisory Novices' Chase.

Impaire Et Passe


Saturday's card at Fairyhouse opened with Impaire Et Passe making a winning chasing debut over 2m5f. Willie Mullins' star, who won the Turners' Novices' Hurdle in 2023, drifted in the betting for the Arkle, while also coming into 16/1 for the Brown Advisory.

Marsh Wren


Stuart Edmunds watched stable star Marsh Wren take down hot-favourite Apple Away to win a Listed Chase at Market Rasen on Wednesday. Marsh Wren was then cut into 16/1 for the 2025 Mares' Chase.
