Dendrobium Handicap Tips (Race 3)
Happy Valley Next Best Bet - Race 3 No. 4 Georgian Sigma
There’s still plenty of upside with this three-year-old, who has been competitive in all three appearances to date.
The first of those came with a debut second at Sha Tin in October, where Georgian Sigma was badly inconvenienced by the eventual winner, who was wayward, and that race has since produced four winners.
He was a little green when beaten as an odds-on favourite before a spell, although still managed a fourth in a November 15 event that has also produced four subsequent winners.
Georgian Sigma then resumed over five furlongs on March 29, where he was left a little flat-footed before working home into third, with the trifecta clearing out from the rest.
The gelding has since won a Happy Valley trial, while the rise to 1200m, a low draw and coming around a bend all look positives on Wednesday night.
The Ewo Challenge Trophy Tips (Race 5)
Happy Valley Best Bet - Race 5 No. 2 Tycoon Resources
The early market appears to have this race assessed correctly, with Tycoon Resources and Beauty Show heading betting.
Not only are they the least exposed gallopers in this Class 4, they also bring comfortably the strongest recent ratings into the contest.
The pair clashed on debut on April 8, when Tycoon Resources prevailed by half a length after settling outside his main rival throughout.
It perhaps could have been a bigger margin if not for inexperience, with the Tony Cruz-trained youngster laying in at key stages of the race.
Tycoon Resources has since completed two trials, whereas Beauty Show did regress slightly at his second appearance and also draws outside his main rival here.
Hyacinth Handicap Tips (Race 7)

It has been a slightly lean period for Mark Newnham, who was once leading this season’s Hong Kong Trainers' Premiership.
Heading into Wednesday night, however, the stable sits only two wins behind Danny Shum and there is still time to peg back that margin.
Newnham prepares the resuming Casa Rochester, a lightly raced five-year-old who saluted over this track-and-trip last season before working up in grade.
Aside from a June 4 failure where there were genuine excuses (irregular heart rhythm), the gelding has been competitive in all Class 3 appearances, including both efforts earlier this season.
Happy to overlook the latest all-weather trial, as Casa Rochester was hard to miss in a turf heat on April 27 and the wide draw is not a major concern given his racing pattern.
Thistle Handicap Tips (Race 9)
Happy Valley Value Bet - Race 9 No. 10 Geneva
The son of Capitalist overcame trouble when taking out a Sha Tin Class 3 on April 26.
While this is a tougher assignment rising to Class 2 company, Geneva receives a massive drop in the weights with 6.5kg less than his latest victory.
That most recent figure suggests he can measure up in this grade, especially with the light impost, and a decent each-way quote is available here.
Geneva had also been in really good touch prior to that success when working home against the race shape in two March appearances.
The form from those races has stacked up strongly, with those two events producing six winners combined, and a predicted fast tempo should suit the gelding down in the weights.
