Heading the market at bookmaker.com.au for the 2022 Hong Kong Cup is Romantic Warrior ($3), a local galloper prepared by Danny Shum and this gelding arrives off a first-up victory in the Group 2 Jockey Club Cup on November 20, which is one of the key lead-up races.
This four-year-old has won eight from nine overall, which includes a Group One victory in the Queen Elizabeth II Cup on April 24 and that race is contested over the 2000m at Sha Tin.
