Sha Tin Value Bet - Race 4 No. 2 Enthralled
He dropped in grade at Happy Valley on April 15, where he was defeated when respected in the market for that 1800m assignment.
That last performance can be forgiven, as he began awkwardly and lost ground, while he was also held up at key stages in the straight.
Zac Purton stays aboard the John Size-trained galloper here, who completed a quiet trial on April 30.
While it wasn’t a winning effort, the Class 3 references in this form read superbly for this assignment.
Not least was the 2.5-length defeat two starts back in an event that has since produced three subsequent winners, and while he’s untried on the all-weather track on race day, breeding suggests he’ll handle it, with the five-year-old bringing a class edge here.

Sha Tin Best Bet - Race 5 No. 2 Light Years Glory
After overcoming trouble when saluting on debut in May last year, Light Years Glory almost went back-to-back in July before a spell.
While he has taken longer to hit his straps this season, his last two performances indicate another victory is looming, with both April efforts coming on the All-Weather circuit.
The first of those resulted in a fourth-of-12 finish before a third placing on April 19 in a race that favoured both the leader and the runner-up, who had his back throughout.
This four-year-old was the runner making ground against that pattern from back in the field and out wide.
Light Years Glory is prepared by Cody Mo, who trained a winning double at Sha Tin last Sunday.

Sha Tin Next Best Bet - Race 6 No. 11 Bull Attitude
Mark Newnham can continue his Hong Kong China Premiership bid on Wednesday night with five acceptances across the programme, and one of his leading chances is Bull Attitude.
The gelding is knocking on the door for win number two, with recent performances on the all-weather circuit all consistent in similar events to what he finds here.
The latest was a runner-up finish to Blossomy, who he meets with a nice weight swing in his favour.
Bull Attitude was also set a task two starts back from a wide draw, where he had to be ridden for luck as a result.
Hopefully, from barrier three, Lyle Hewitson can give him a more economical run in transit, and we saw the gelding produced off cover effectively when breaking through earlier in the season, while he has been good without favours in most subsequent runs.
Begonia Handicap Tips (Race 9)
Sha Tin Favourite - Race 9 No. 7 Blazing Wind
The engagement of Zac Purton aboard Blazing Wind is an important one on Wednesday evening.
The champion hoop is two-from-two aboard this son of Deep Field, with both victories recorded on the All-Weather track, including the latest on January 21 when successful in this grade with half a kilo more than he carries here.
While connections have opted for the apprentice aboard key rival Victory Sky, Purton remains with this five-year-old, who was unlucky behind that galloper last start when held up in the straight.
Prior to that effort, Blazing Wind caught the eye on the All-Weather circuit when getting home from off the speed for third.
There are options from a low draw and, with conditions to suit, Blazing Wind won’t get a better chance to bring up win number four than in this assignment.
