Day one at the Punchestown Festival is headlined by the Punchestown Champion Chase. This Grade One was first run in 1950, and has been won by greats like Master Minded, Sprinter Sacre, Moscow Flyer and Un de Sceaux.

Ten horses have been entered in this year's renewal, and it's two of Willie Mullins' finest who dominate the market.

Chacun Pour Soi's winning run came to an end at the Cheltenham Festival, as Willie Mullins' star could only finish third behind Put The Kettle On in the Champion Chase.

The following day, Allaho produced a stunning performance to run away with the Ryanair Chase. Mullins' stars dominate the market for this Grade One, with Chacun Pour Soi narrowly favoured by race sponsors William Hill.

Put The Kettle On and Nube Negra have been handed entries at Punchestown, but a run in the Celebration Chase at Sandown seems more likely for both. Fakir D'Oudairies could also make an appearance here, but the Punchestown Gold Cup remains an option.

Kim Bailey could send First Flow over to Punchestown for the first time. Cilaos Emery and Notebook could also feature in the field. Castlegrace Paddy and Daly Tiger round off the Punchestown Festival day one entries.
