Cheltenham's November Meeting - Day One Preview
Four of the six races on Friday's card at Cheltenham will be shown live on ITV Racing. The main event will certainly be the Cross Country Handicap Chase, where Tiger Roll and Easysland go head-to-head once again.
Gordon Elliott's two-time Grand National winner, and four-time Cheltenham Festival winner, succumbed to his younger rival in the Cross Country Chase back in March. Easysland's rating was hiked up by 15-pounds following that 17-length success, but he'll still be in receipt of four pounds from Tiger Roll when they meet again on Friday.
Does He Know will then look to back up that victory at the Showcase Meeting in the Hyde Novices' Hurdle. Kim Bailey's charge will have to concede three-pounds to dangerous rivals like The Grand Visir, Grand Mogul and Midnight River, who finished second behind Does He Know here last month.
The brilliantly-named Mucking Brilliant Paddy Power Handicap could see talented sorts like Magic Saint, Fanion D'Estruval and On The Slopes square off. Philip Hobbs' Sporting John could then make his chasing debut in the prelude to the Cross Country.
