"He ran over hurdles at Chepstow last weekend and performed well but I definitely needed to get a run into him. He needs his first run and I can't forget that as I thought he would win first time out last year and he needed the run quite badly despite having done a lot of work with him. I had done a lot of work with him again but I knew he would need the race. He will now go for the Old Roan Chase at Aintree."

My Drogo

"My Drogo will go chasing this year. I have yet to decide where he will start but he will be ready the end of October/early November."

Nube Negra

"He obviously had a great year last year and I was obviously deflated that the ground was as soft as it was when he went to Punchestown on his final start as he does want some real nice ground. When he was on better ground at Kempton, he was very effective when he beat Altior and also in the Champion Chase when he was only half a length behind Put The Kettle On. Ultimately we will take the same route and he will be ready for the Tingle Creek but I would be very cautious about the ground and I imagine we could go for the Desert Orchid like we did last year and then the Champion Chase. I doubt we would be looking at Punchestown again and I think we would be looking at going to Sandown. We are have got a route there that has been good to us so far and hopefully we can go one better in the Queen Mother Champion Chase one day, but I am still very proud of how he ran."

Novice Hurdlers

Elle Est Belle

"She was a really good mare in bumpers last year and will go over hurdles. We don't know where yet but we will probably tread quite lightly towards the Dawn Run Mares' Novices' Hurdle."

Rocky Man

"He ran a very pleasing first race over hurdles behind a hotpot of Paul's (Nicholls) at Chepstow on Saturday and he can only improve for that experience. He should soon be making his mark in Juvenile Hurdle company."

Too Friendly

"He won at Stratford last week and he and Alan King's Oceanline pulled a long way clear of the third. I think they are a smart pair and he should do well in Juvenile Hurdles."

Older Hurdlers

Cabot Cliffs

"He made a promising return at Chepstow on Friday and hopefully he can step up on that effort in similar company soon."

"He goes for the Welsh Champion Hurdle next week and that will be a big target. We will make further plans after that."

Flash The Steel

"He will be out around Christmas time and ultimately we will aiming him for decent handicap hurdles on soft ground. He could be effective in something like the Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle at the Festival but it wouldn't surprise me if Aintree is better for him."

Langer Dan

"He is going to be off for the first part of the season but I would obviously like to get him back for the second part of the season. We know he is very effective on slow ground over two miles or two miles and a half so he will have plenty of options when the spring turns up."

Molly Ollys Wishes

"She is a massively improved mare last year and ultimately wants three miles but could start off over a little shorter. We will tread a very similar route to what we did with (Recently retired former Mares' Hurdle winner) Roksana."

"I had him as fit as I could at home for his return in the Silver Trophy at Chepstow but he ran as though he needed the race and may just want a little further too. He should come on for that and we will look for something similar for him."

"He is going to run at Aintree on October 24 and then is going to for the £100,000 handicap at the Betfair meeting at Haydock - that will be his big target."

Shannon Bridge

"He came really good for us after the turn of the year and won at Wetherby and Ascot. He is a horse who doesn't necessarily love fences and as he has got a little bit older he is going to be a horse who takes a bit of time to get going and that is ultimately what happened last year. I don't see it won't be the same this year but if we can find him a day in the sun that will be great."

Stepney Causeway

"He will go to Cheltenham for the four-year-old only hurdle in October and we will make a plan from there."

Wilde About Oscar

"He will start in a two and half miles conditions race at Aintree in November and that will tell us what we do but I can see him stepping up to three miles."

"He runs over fences as soon as we get some sensible ground. I think he will take high order as a novice chaser."

"He made a pleasing start over fences at Uttoxeter last week and, as long as the ground is sensible, he will go to Cheltenham on October 22 and we will make a plan after that."

Midnight River

"He jumps fences nicely at home and will hopefully start at Carlisle on October 23 but would need plenty of rain to do so. I am in no massive rush to run him until we have some real nice ground."

Third Time Lucki

"He could start over fences at Wetherby this week but we do need some rain and we will make a plan after that. I would like to give him one run or maybe two and then go for the Henry VIII."

Older Chasers

"He had a good year last year when winning two and he needs soft ground. He could go to Carlisle for the Intermediate Chase but it would have to be really really soft. We will pick and choose our races during the winter but he will be really effective on soft ground."

Amoola Gold

"He was very good last year especially around Ascot and he won a listed race in October there. We will tread a similar path and the step up to two and a half miles is probable. Nowadays he is just wanting a little bit further."

Captain Chaos

"He is always a slow starter to his year but he won a listed race at Ascot last February. As he gets older he is only going to confirm that but we will try and find him a race again. He will tell us when he is ready and you can't force this horse. When he's ready we will see what we can find for him again."

Eclair D'Ainay

"I feel like I have had a really good autumn with him probably the best we have ever had him. He was going to run at Chepstow but it just hasn't rained enough. I will pick a race as soon as I can as he's in great form and I think he will take a step up in trip this year."

"He will go to the Cheltenham October meeting. Life isn't quite easy for him with a high handicap mark and we have to go where we are eligible too. He's been a massive horse really and he will go there and then possibly the Haldon Gold Cup as well."

King D'Argent

"That was a brilliant run the over day in a very competitive two mile chase at Kelso and he will go for the Haldon Gold Cup at Exeter next."

"He will hopefully have a run before the Paddy Power at Cheltenham and then we will let him tell us where we go after that."

Shan Blue

"He start in the Charlie Hall at Wetherby on October 30 and I will have him super ready for that. That will be a key event for him as that will tell us where we go and what we plan thereafter."

"He is ready to start basically and I think he will need his first run at he gets a bit stuffier as he gets older. He has been second and third in every good race he has ever run in and he just need to win one with him. He is a super consistent horse and definitely deserves to win one."
