The winner of Sunday's feature at Punchestown could end up being Willie Mullins' number one horse for the 2025 Supreme Novices' Hurdle. Leading the betting is Salvator Mundi, who finished sixth in the 2024 Triumph Hurdle on debut for Mullins and hasn't been seen since a 62-length maiden hurdle triumph at Tipperary in May.

Fellow French import to Closutton, Kel Histoire steps up in grade following an impressive maiden win at Cork. Mullins could also be represented by Ballygunner Castle, who will be looking for his fourth win on the bounce having scored on his reappearance at Fairyhouse.

A winner at Galway in October, Sporting Glory looks to be Gordon Elliott's leading contender on Sunday. Maiden winners Casheldale Lad and Relieved Of Duties look set to join their stablemate in the field.

Henry De Bromhead has entered Cork maiden winner Sky Lord, who was only beaten a neck by Sporting Glory in a bumper at Fairyhouse. Gerard O'Leary's 82-rated flat horse, Jabbar could have his second start over hurdles on Sunday. Other possible runners include Mr Rango for John Harney, and Declan Queally's duo of Artic Lane and Twentyfourcarrot.
