Chantry House

"(He was beaten in) December, but his back was giving him trouble and he didn't jump as well as he could. He consequently had surgery for kissing spines and came back with a bang at Wetherby and then put up a top-class performance to win the Marsh Novices’ Chase at Cheltenham when beating Fusil Raffles. He rounded off his season with another impressive success in the Mildmay Novices’ Chase at Aintree where he had little trouble staying the three miles and a furlong. We haven't decided where to start him off yet but were are hoping he is absolutely top class."

"She looked set for a cracking season when an easy winner from Sceau Royal in the Fighting Fifth but she then finished second to Silver Streak in the Christmas Hurdle and twice had a rear view of Honeysuckle in the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham and then at Punchestown. She has had a nice summer break at Martinstown and we are hopeful we can get her back to her best but Honeysuckle, again, will be a hard mare to beat."

"He was sensational over fences last season and never put a foot wrong. He won the Arkle in great style from Eldorado Allen and ended his season with another faultless success in the Maghull Novices’ Chase at Aintree. He has done incredibly well over the summer and strengthened up immeasurably and I think we will start in the Tingle Creek with all roads leading to the Queen Mother Champion Chase. He has all the attributes to fill the void left by Sprinter Sacre and Altior and we look forward to getting him going again."

Balko Coastal

"He is a horse that I hope has a very big future and when we he won his first bumper at Kempton we thought he was very special. He had always worked well at home, and we kept him for the Aintree bumper but he just didn't show up that day. He jumps exceptionally well and has plenty of speed so we will start him over two miles over hurdles. He should have little trouble getting further and we hope he can prove just how good he is."

"He has won both of his bumpers and he would be one of our brighter prospects for novice hurdling. He has schooled well, and I think he could be top class."

"I would be disappointed if he doesn't take high rank in novice hurdles this season. He did everything right in his two bumpers and he has loads of scope. He has schooled really well, and I think he could be very good. He shouldn't have a problem staying two and a half miles and he is something to look forward too."

I Am Maximus

"He obviously put up a smart performance when beating My Drogo in a bumper at Cheltenham last October and we were considering running him in the Aintree bumper, but he had a few niggly problems so we finished him for the season. He has schooled very well, and we just don't know how good he is. He could be one of the most exciting prospects we have had for a long time, and we hope he can live up to our expectations."

"He is a full brother to Douvan and you would hope he could be something special. He won his bumper at Newbury in the style of a top-class youngster and he is one of our big hopes for novice hurdles this season."

"Buzz did us proud when providing us with our third Cesarewitch winner last Saturday and appears to be staying really well as he gets older. He won over two miles at Ascot last season and then finished runner-up to Abacadabras over two and a half miles at Aintree in the Spring. He could go for the West Yorkshire Hurdle or the Long Distance Hurdle at Newbury next and we would have to be thinking of the Stayers’ Hurdle at Cheltenham."

"He is a Flemensfirth half-brother to Simonsig and he has had a great Summer and really strengthened up. He did little wrong in two runs over hurdkes last season - winning at Newbury in November and then he returned from a lengthy spell off the track to finish third in the Top Novices’ Hurdle at Aintree. He will eventually make a chaser but he has only had two runs in his life and we might give him more experience over hurdles before we go chasing with him. He is another who could well be top class."

Heross Du Seuil

"He has developed considerably and is an imposing individual. He is only a four-year-old and we continue with him over hurdles, and he should do well for us."

On The Blind Side

"He has been a wonderful servant and is very popular in the yard. He ran several very solid races over both fences and hurdles and he won a staying hurdle at Market Rasen in January on ground that was plenty soft enough for him. He looks tremendous and we will crack on with him again."

Bothwell Bridge

"We always thought that whatever he did over hurdles was a bonus, but he was impressive when he won at Warwick last November and added to that at Hereford later in the season. He could be a very high-class chaser in time, and we are looking forward to getting him started over fences."

"He is very likely to go novice chasing this season and hopefully he could be very good in that sphere. He stays two and a half miles really well and there's no reason he shouldn't get further."

"She looks every inch a chaser and that is what she will be doing this season. She could be very smart over fences, and we don't quite know he far we can climb with her."

"He is an out and out stayer and we can't wait to get over three miles over fences. He put in a disappointing effort in the Sefton Novices’ Hurdle at Aintree but hopefully he will get the chance to show his true colours this season."

Lecale's Article

"He has the size and scope to make a very good novice chaser this season and jumps fences really well. He looks an exciting prospect."

Mister Coffey

"He won a decent handicap at Sandown in November and ran well in a listed handicap back at Sandown and then another solid race in the Betfair Hurdle at Newbury. I can't wait to get him started over fences and we will probably start over two miles and then step up in distance. I hope he could be a Cheltenham contender come the spring."

"He is an out and out staying chaser in the making and we could go novice chasing straight away. There is an enormous amount of improvement to come from him and we look forward to seeing him in action."

"He is very talented but has been absolutely luckless and we are just hoping we can get him back after suffering some serious injuries. He could hardly have been more impressive when winning at Ascot first time out and we were thinking in terms of Cheltenham but then we went to Haydock, and he took a horrible fall down the back straight and that was that."

Angels Breath

"We are hoping that Angels Breath will be able to continue training this season after suffering a horrific injury after winning his second novice chase at Ascot. He made an impressive debut over fences when beating First Flow eight lengths and then went back to Ascot for a Grade 2 Novices' Chase and came home 23 lengths clear of Mont Des Avaloirs. He has done a lot of buildup work and I hope he can stay in one piece and prove as good as we thought he was."

Caribean Boy

"He is a high-class individual when things go his way and he showed what he is capable of when winning the Grade 2 Berkshire Novices’ Chase first time out last season. When he gets it right he will win a very big race one day."

"He had a difficult second season over fences after a cracking first season over fences. We were going to reintroduce him in the Denman Chase at Newbury or the Cotswold at Cheltenham but the ground was so bad we went over two miles in the Game Spirit and he looked to have had the ideal preparation for the Gold Cup when finishing second to Sceau Royal. However, he never jumped in the Gold Cup and his old back issues resurfaced. He has had surgery in Ireland and hopefully that will put him back to where he was, a genuine Gold Cup horse."

Dame De Compagnie

"She jumped well when winning her novice chase at Ayr but her chasing career when a little off the rails after that. I am sure we can get her chasing career back on track as she does jump very well."

Dickie Diver

"He is a seriously talented horse if we can keep him in one piece. He loves soft ground and stays really well, and we just have to hope we have a clear run with him."

Fusil Raffles

"He made a pleasing return at Newton Abbot on Sunday when finishing runner-up to Bravemansgame as he was conceding 12lb to the winner and will undoubtedly come on for that run. He has plenty of ability and a great temperament and he will hopefully get his head in front again shortly."

Mister Fisher

"He is a horse we love, and it was great to see him win the Peterborough Chase which was switched to Cheltenham when Huntingdon was abandoned. He also ran an excellent second to Frodon on the final day of the season at Sandown and was pretty consistent last season. He loves decent ground, and he can figure strongly in those top races when he gets his ground conditions."
