Stage Star won this race on his seasonal reappearance 12 months ago, having struck in the Turner's Novices' Chase the previous season. Paul Nicholls will be hoping for a similar feat from Ginny's Destiny, who won three handicaps here at Cheltenham last year before finishing second in the Turners and the Manifesto at Aintree.

Former Gordon Elliott inmate, Imagine could make his stable debut for Harry Derham in Saturday's feature at Cheltenham. Prestbury Park regular, Il Ridoto sits third in the market, ahead of Jamie Snowden's Ga Law, who landed the Grade Three handicap here on Festival Trials Day.

The big winner at Cheltenham's April Meeting, In Excelsis Deo could represent Harry Fry. December Gold Cup winner, Fugitif is another who could make his return to action. Defending champion Stage Star, and Ryanair Chase winner Protektorat currently top the weights.

Henry De Bromhead's Lets Go Champ and Gavin Cromwell's Hartur D'arc could fly the flag for Ireland at Cheltenham next weekend. As could John McConnell's Seddon, who won the Paddy Power Plate on his last trip to Gloucester in 2023.

Other potential runners include this year's winner of the Plate, Shakem Up'Arry, Weveallbeencaught for Christian Williams, Sheila Lewis' Straw Fan Jack and Mares' Chase third, Marsh Wren.
