BetMGM is the online sportsbook for one of the world's most famous casino brands. MGM Resorts International covers some of the most illustrious casinos on the planet. The ‘live’ icon in the header menu will bring up the currently-available in-play betting options. As with a lot of sportsbooks you can choose an overview or event view, but the event view tends to be very cluttered. 

All the big games are covered with impressive market depth. If live streaming isn’t available, you can still keep up with the action using the animated match tracker. There are also live statistics updates to help you plan your next wager. 

The BetMGM website is nicely laid out with intuitive navigation. It uses the popular three-column layout, so if you’ve ever placed a bet at a big-name sportsbook you’ll know what to do here. 

The options are all where you’d expect them to be, but some of the in-play pages can look a bit chaotic. This will not be much of an issue for seasoned punters, but novices may find it off-putting. All in all, however, the BetMGM website is very well designed.

The BetMGM login is very simple, too. All you have to do is click the ‘login’ button and input your details. There are also reset links just in case you have forgotten your user ID or password.

The selections of sports available to bet on is fairly small. Horse racing is a notable ommision, considering it's such a big betting sport in America.

On the list of popular sports at BetMGM, football is right at the top. The NFL is obviously the main draw, but you can also bet on NCAA games. Big professional matches will have around 35 markets, but this drops to just the moneyline, spread, and totals wagers for the college games. 

MLB is second on BetMGM’s list of popular sports. Unfortunately there are no other baseball options, but hopefully these will be added in the near future. There are around 15 markets per match, with wagers like ‘will there be a score in the first inning’ and ‘which team will score first’. There are also outrights covering the World Series winner and other such future bets.

Despite being labelled as ‘basketball’, only the NBA is currently covered. The popular matches will have around 25 markets with plenty of individual player bets. There are futures for both the division and conference winners, as well as the overall NBA Champions and MVPs. You can also bet on who will finish as the number 1 seed in both conferences. The Odds Boost tab will often contain NBA wagers too, such as ‘Doncic to record a triple-double’. 

Soccer has by far the most betting options of any sport at BetMGM. There are over 20 countries and territories to choose from, plus plenty of European and World competitions. Many nations have multiple leagues and tournaments too. The English Premier League is the most popular with 100 markets per match, but even the third tier English matches will have over 90. 

The NHL category should actually be labelled ‘Ice Hockey’, as it covers the NHL, the AHL, the Olympics, and the World Championships. NHL games have the best market depth with 60 per match, while AHL games have around 20. There aren’t usually any individual player wagers, but you’ll find plenty of bets for each specific period.

The BetMGM Cash Out feature is available on many straight and parlay wagers. It enables you to end your bet before the match has finished and extract a portion of your winnings. This is a very handy feature to have if you feel like your bet is in danger. 

You can alter any straight or parlay wager that has cash out available by using the Edit My Bet feature. This allows you to increase your stake, as well as adding, swapping or removing selections.
