He has finished second four times and third once from as many starts over this C&D. He has cracked a good draw of three and may be rewarded for consistency.
Race 5 - EXCEEDER (8)
EXCEEDER set the pace over this C&D last time, but found one too good in the form of Priceless. The 6yo gelding meets similar company this afternoon and if putting his best foot forward, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
Race 6 - BONANZA (5)
BONANZA finished 1.25 lengths behind WORDSWORTH last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating them in the run down to the line. Race 7 - ROD THE MOD (4)
ROD THE MOD was not disgraced when sixth in the Listed Southeaster Sprint last time. He has won twice, finished second once and third once from as many starts over this C&D. He takes a drop-in class and from his good draw of four, he may be hard to peg back.
