Fairview Racecourse hosts its usual Friday card today, with the first race set to go off at 11:10am (UK Time). To help you try and find a few winners, here are Magic Tips' South African Horse Racing selections for today.
Fairview Tips - Friday 14th June
Race 1 - CONFETTI (3)
CONFETTI was a beaten odds-on favourite in her last start over this distance, on the turf. Her debut effort when second on this course was eye-catching. The daughter of Canford Cliffs may be at her best on this surface and if getting away to a clean start, she can shed her maiden tag.
Race 2 - AND ACTION (1)
AND ACTION is having his first run for the Kelly Mitchley stable. He should have finished closer to the winner on the Hollywoodbets Greyville polytrack last time as he hung inwards in the final 300m. If settled into his new surroundings, he can go one better.
Race 5 - MAGICAL MIDLANDS (4)
MAGICAL MIDLANDS was an easy winner of his last start over this distance on the turf. He returns from a well-deserved 10-week break which may have done him the world of good. The blinkers have done the trick. If not in need of the run, he can follow up with another victory.
Race 6 - AERIAL VIEW (2)
AERIAL VIEW was an easy winner of her last start over 1900m on this course. She set her own fractions and found more where it matters most. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. The tongue-tie has done the trick and she is the horse to beat once again.
Race 8 - SI GIOCA (5)
SI GIOCA was touched off in her last start over 1000m on this course. It must be noted that Jade’s Caberneigh has come out and won again since. She has won once, finished second five times and third once from ten starts on this course. With luck in running, she should be the one to beat.
Verdict
Aerial View (Race 6) is Magic Tips' best bet of the day at Fairview on Friday.
