Race 1 - ONE BITE AT A TIME (11)
ONE BITE AT A TIME is better than her last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. Her penultimate effort when finishing second over this C&D catches the eye. The blinkers have been removed this afternoon and with a bit of luck from the widest draw, she may be the one to beat.
Race 2 - QUEEN MERCURY (2)
QUEEN MERCURY ran a good race in her local debut over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. She raced from just off the pace that day and stayed on nicely to finish second. The daughter of Silvano tries the polytrack this afternoon and if suited to the surface, she should be too good for this field.
Race 3 - JOSHUA HOTSNAKE (6)
JOSHUA HOTSNAKE produced a promising debut effort over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. He showed good pace that day, but found one too good in the form of Proud Master. The beautiful son of Noble Tune would have come on with the run under his belt. He tries the polytrack and if the 1000m is not too sharp, he should go one better.
Race 7 - KINGSMEADS KRYST (6)
KINGSMEADS KRYSTL was ultra-impressive when winning her maiden over 1200m on the turf track last time. The manner in which she drew clear of the opposition in the closing stages that day was eye-catching. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The daughter of Visionaire takes on stronger today, but she looks to have ability and should be up to the task at hand.
Race 8 - WHAT A RYDER (1)
WHAT A RYDER was not disgraced when finishing fifth against stronger company over this distance on the turf last time. The manner in which he stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging. The son of What A Winter takes a drop in class and should strip much fitter. From pole position, he should return to winning ways.
