Race 3 - PERFECT TRUST (1)
PERFECT TRUST’S last three starts have been decent. She set the pace over 1600m last time and stayed on to finish third. Her penultimate run over this distance at Durbanville catches the eye. Richard Fourie rides from pole position and she can shed her maiden tag.
Race 4 - SOLAR POWER (9)
SOLAR POWER showed good improvement in his last start over this distance at Durbanville. He moved up like a winner that day, but was outrun in the latter stages by Dragonfly. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. The son of Dynasty looks progressive and may be the one to beat.
Race 5 - I WANT IT ALL (7)
I WANT IT ALL followed up his maiden win with a good second-place finish over this C&D. He challenged strongly that day, but found one too good in the form of Aus Bob. The son of Silvano takes a slight rise in class, but he has ability and carries a handy galloping mass of 54.5kgs. Grant van Niekerk takes the ride and he may be the one to beat.
Race 7 - WHOA WHOA WHOA (6)
WHOA WHOA WHOA is unbeaten from two starts to date. She showed good speed in her last start over this C&D, quickened up well and drew clear of the opposition. The daughter of Maurice takes a big rise in class, but she carries a handy galloping mass of 53.5kgs. She has plenty of ability and should remain unbeaten.
Race 8 - LOUIS’ DIAMOND (5)
LOUIS’ DIAMOND should have finished closer in a minor feature race over 1400m last time. She has won once and finished second twice from as many starts over this C&D. The daughter of Louis The King is back against her own sex today and with a bit of luck in running, can return to winning ways.
