Race 4 - CALLMEWHENUNEEDME (2)
CALLMEWHENUNEEDME has produced two good efforts to date, the latest of which was in the Listed Ruffian Stakes. The daughter of Master Of My Fate finished second on debut over this C&D. She is a progressive type and in this line-up, she should be the horse to beat.
Race 5 - TIME TO MEDITATE (3)
TIME TO MEDITATE was not disgraced when taking on winners over 1900m on the Hollywoodbets Greyville Polytrack last time. The son of Time Thief should enjoy the drop to 1800m. The blinkers and tongue-tie seem to have done the trick. He returns to Maiden Company and from his good draw of four, may be the one to side with.
Race 6 - DESTINY OF SOULS (1)
DESTINY OF SOULS was not disgraced when sixth in the Listed Derby Trial last time. He won a good race in his penultimate outing over 1800m at Turffontein. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field and will be mowing down the frontrunners.
Race 7 - VITELLIUS (6)
VITELLIUS followed up his maiden victory with a good third-place finish over 1400m at Turffontein. He raced from a handy position and stayed on at the business end. The son of Pomodoro looks to have ability and he can notch up his second career victory.
Verdict
Callmewhenuneedme (Race 4) is Magic Tips' best bet of the day at Vaal on Thursday.
