Week three of the Dubai World Cup carnival features plenty of top-quality action. Two Grade Two's headline Thursday's action, while punters also have a couple of strong handicaps to sink their teeth into.

We've looked through Thursday's card and picked out our best betting tips.

Meydan Tips - Thursday 4th February

Race 2 - Dubai Future

Walton Street ran out a hugely impressive winner of the Dubai Racing Club Classic two weeks ago, and I'm expecting DUBAI FUTURE to rubber-stamp that form.

Saeed bin Suroor's five-year-old won this race last year, before finishing second to Secret Advisor in a Grade Three over course-and-distance next time out. Racing at Meydan clearly agrees with him, and Frankie Dettori has been in cracking form during the early weeks of this carnival. He remains well-handicapped.

Race 3 - Mouheeb

On ratings alone, Naval Crown should win this comfortably. However, a mark of 104 looks slightly inflated based on what he achieved in England, and he's never raced on anything other than turf.

I'd rather side with MOUHEEB, who won well on debut at Jebel Ali, before going down by a nose in the UAE 2000 Guineas Trial. Ryan Curatolo's mount started slowly and looked green during the early stages. Mouheeb then found himself stuck on the rail as Rebel Romance made his move, but picked up nicely once he found open air and looked to be wearing down the leader with every stride before the line came to save the favourite.

That really was a cracking run considering how the race panned out, and I fancy Mouheeb is the one they all have to beat.

Race 6 - Could Be King

I fancy an each-way punt on COULD BE KING for Irish trainer Ken Condon. I thought Andrea Atzeni's mount ran well in the Al Fahidi Fort last time out, considering he was up with the pace for most of the race, and that was his first start in Grade Two company.

Could Be King carried a top-weight of 10-00 to victory in a hugely competitive seven-furlong handicap at Leopardstown last September, and he's run creditably in black-type races thereafter. A wide draw should force Atzeni to try and get there fast and late. Those tactics could pay dividends over this rapid, six-furlong trip.
