2024 Champions Sprint Stakes Entries

2022 Champion Sprinter, Kinross will return to Ascot for his fourth crack at this Group One on Saturday, having been beaten a neck 12 months ago. William Haggas' Montassib will be going for two Group Ones on the bounce, having struck in the Sprint Cup at Haydock last month.

Kind Of Blue and Unequal Love followed Montassib home at Haydock and they both sit prominently in the betting. William Buick renews his July Cup-winning partnership with Mill Stream, as Oisin Murphy jumps back into the saddle of Andrew Balding's filly Flora Of Bermuda.

French raider, Beauvatier has been well-backed after flying home for third behind Ramatuelle in the Prix de la Foret. Karl Burke could be doubly represented, with multiple Group One placer Swingalong likely to be joined in the field by top three-year-old Elite Status.

John and Thady Gosden will drop Lockinge winner, Audience down to six furlongs on British Champions Day. Ryan Moore has been confirmed in the saddle of James's Delight for Clive Cox. Adrian Murray's Bucanero Fuerte will be the sole Irish runner in this year's contest.

Last year's winner, Art Power will return to defend his crown. Other possible runners include Shartash for Archie Watson, Mick Appleby's Annaf, Spycatcher for Karl Burke and Richard Hannon's experienced four-year-old, Shouldvebeenaring.
