After last Saturday's card at Ascot was lost to the frost, the 2023 Clarence House Chase had been moved to Cheltenham, like it was back in 2018. Last year's Clarence House produced one of the greatest battles in recent history, as Shishkin edged out Energumene and it's the 2022 runner-up who tops the betting for Saturday's renewal.
Here's a look through the current Clarence House Chase betting and a rundown of the most likely runners.

2023 Clarence House Chase Entries
Having suffered his first defeat at Ascot 12 months ago, Energumene went on to win the Champion Chase at Cheltenham and again at Punchestown in the Spring. Willie Mullins' star returns to Ascot on the back of an easy win in the Hilly Way Chase and BetUK list Energumene as their 4/9 favourite.
The favourite's chief rival will be Alan King's Edwardstone, who won the Arkle at the end of last season. Edwardstone looked better than ever when winning the Tingle Creek on his reappearance, but will have to bounce back following an early fall at Kempton over Christmas.
Amarillo Sky was the only other runners declared for Saturday's running of the Clarence House at Ascot. This time, the trio will be joined by Gary Moore's recent Desert Orchid Chase winner, Editeur Du Gite after he was supplemented into the rescheduled race.
Champion Chase runner-up, Funambule Sivola could also take his chance at Cheltenham. Sizing Pottsie is the sixth and final entrant.
