Mishriff travelled to France to land a Classic last season, powering to an impressive victory in the Prix du Jockey Club. John Gosden's star has since landed two massive prizes out in the UAE, following a one-length triumph in the Saudi Cup with a narrow victory over Chrono Genesis in the Sheema Classic.

St Mark's Basilica followed in Mishriff's footsteps by landing the Prix du Jockey Club last month. Aidan O'Brien charge kicked off his season with an excellent win in the French equivalent of the 2000 Guineas and, being a three-year-old, he'll be getting ten pounds from Mishriff when they lock horns on Saturday.

Aidan O'Brien has also entered Armory, but he might not take part if the ground remains on the soft side. Japan could also fly the flag for Ballydoyle, despite flopping on his last two starts in the Coronation Cup and the Hardwicke Stakes.

Wonderful Tonight bolted up in the Hardwicke Stakes, despite David Menuisier claiming his filly was only 75% fit before the race. The chances of Wonderful Tonight running seem slim, though, after her trainer said they would only take their chance if the ground came up really heavy.

Addeybb successfully defended his Queen Elizabeth Stakes crown at Randwick on his last appearance and Tom Marquand's mount will relish any extra cut in the ground at Sandown on Saturday.

The betting is rounded off by the only other three-year-old in the running, El Drama, who was beaten 23-length behind St Mark's Basilica when they met in the Prix du Jockey Club at the start of June.
