Savethelastdance Epsom Oaks 2023 Odds

The field was confirmed for the 2023 Epsom Oaks on Wednesday and since then, Savethelastdance has been backed into odds-on favouritism.

Aidan O'Brien's filly started her three-year-old campaign as a maiden, having failed to win on her only juvenile start.

Savethelastdance kicked off her campaign with an impressive victory over a subsequent winner at Leopardstown. Ryan Moore's mount then secured an emphatic 22-length victory in the Cheshire Oaks at Chester, after which Savethelastdance was cut into short-priced favoritism for the Oaks.

Savethelastdance will carry the number 9 saddle cloth on Friday and will come out of stall four. Ryan Moore's mount will wear the dark blue silks of John Magnier, Michael Tabor, Derrick Smith and Westerberg - colours that were carried Oaks glory by Tuesday 12 months ago.
