2024 Grand National Entries
Following an excellent third-place finish in the Cheltenham Gold Cup, defending champion Corach Rambler was cut into clear favouritism for the 2024 Grand National. The only other contender who can be backed at a single-figure price is Willie Mullins' I Am Maximus, who won the Irish National at Fairyhouse 12 months ago.
Last year's runner-up, Vanillier is the third-favourite for the world's most famous handicap. Another Willie Mullins runner, Meetingofthewater was cut following his third-place finish in the Ultima at Cheltenham. Coral Gold Cup runner-up, Mahler Mission also sits prominently in the market.
Martin Brassil's Panda Boy has been well-backed recently, despite needing one of the top 34 runners to drop out to get a run in the race. Christian Williams' Kitty's Light needs four of the top 34 to come out to make the final field, but he too has been backed into 14/1 in recent weeks.
Midlands National runner-up Mr Incredible, former Gold Cup winner Minella Indo, and Grand National champion of two years ago, Noble Yeats can all be backed at 20/1 or shorter. Chemical Energy, Delta Work, Galvin and Coko Beach have been entered by Gordon Elliott. Limerick Lace, Adamantly Chosen, Desertmore House and Stattler could also fly the flag for Ireland.
Welsh Grand National hero Nassalam will represent the home team, along with Dan Skelton's mare Galia Des Liteaux. Latenightpass and Eldorado Allen will bolster the British challenge, along with course winners Chambard and Mac Tottie.
