The ante-post favourite for this year's Grand National is Ted Walsh's Any Second Now. Third in last year's National, Any Second Now jumped to the head of the Aintree betting after beating Escaria Ten and Burrows Saint in the Bobby Jo Chase at Fairyhouse.

Escaria Ten will be part of a fearsome Gordon Elliott squad in this year's National. Elliott could also run Cross Country winner Delta Work, last year's fifth Farclas, Irish Grand National runner-up Run Wild Fred, and former Kim Muir winner Mount Ida.

Willie Mullins will give Burrows Saint another crack, after finishing fourth last year. Ciaran Murphy sends over Enjoy D'allen to the UK for the first time, after he was purchased at the start of the month by JP McManus.

Leading the home challenge is Snow Leopardess, who won over the National fences in the Becher Chase earlier in the season. Ladbrokes Trophy runner-up, Fiddlerontheroof will represent Colin Tizzard. Last year's beaten favourite, Cloth Cap could take his chance again. As could impressive Classic Chase winner, Eclair Surf.

Rachael Blackmore will again partner Minella Times, as they look to try and defend their crown at the Grand National Festival. Other likely runners include Longhouse Poet, Discorama, Noble Yeats, Chris's Dream, Good Boy Bobby and Fortescue.
