Limerick Lace Grand National 2024 Odds

Limerick Lace has done most of her racing over two-and-a-half miles, winning two Listed races and a Grade Two this term. On her sole start over three miles, Walsh's mount was narrowly beaten into second in the Troytown handicap by Coko Beach, who'll line up in opposition again this afternoon.

Gavin Cromwell's mare travelled to the Cheltenham Festival last month, and took down star mare Dinoblue to win the Mares' Chase. A tilt at the Irish Grand National had been talked up after that victory, but Cromwell and owner, JP McManus decided to wait for Aintree and Limerick Lace has been backed into single-figure prices with most firm over the past two weeks.

Limerick Lace will wear the famous yellow and green silks of owner JP McManus. Mark Walsh has chosen to ride Cromwell's mare over JP's other entrants and Limerick Lace will carry the number 25 saddle cloth number this afternoon.
