The ITV Racing team will pitch up at Exeter on Tuesday afternoon, before the coverage heads over to Keeneland for day one of the Breeders' Cup. Exeter's card on Friday is headlined by the Haldon Gold Cup, a Grade Two handicap that's been won by top chasers like Viking Flagship, Best Mate and Cue Card down the years.

The Tizzard's landed this pot for a second time with Eldorado Allen 12 months ago. This time, Joe Tizzard will be represented by War Lord, twice a runner-up in Grade One company during his novice chase campaign last term.

For the second year in a row, three-time Grade One winner Greaneteen will make his reappearance in the Haldon Gold Cup. Paul Nicholls' eight-year-old will give over a stone to his closest rival at the weights, and that happens to be Third Time Lucki, who landed a Grade Two at Doncaster for the Skelton's last season.

Nicholls has handed further entries to Sandown specialist, Dolos and talented five-year-old, Il Ridoto. Emma Lavelle could run Red Rookie, who was last seen falling when beating in the Arkle at Cheltenham.

Other possible runners include Heather Main's progressive eight-year-old Numitor, Captain Tom Cat for Dr Richard Newland, and Fergal O'Brien's Gumball.
