Sitting happily atop the betting we find Love, who picked up where she left off last season with a hard-fought victory in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot. Aidan O'Brien's stable star should come on for her first outing of the season, and the best performance of Love's career thus far came over this trip in the 2020 Epsom Oaks.

Sitting second is the shock winner of this year's Epsom Derby, Adayar. Charlie Appleby's colt ran out a convincing winner at Epsom, and the form of that race was boosted when stablemate Hurricane Lane - who finished third at Epsom - won the Irish Derby and the Grand Prix de Paris.

Frankie Dettori attempted to pinch the Irish Derby from the front on Lone Eagle at the Curragh last time out, but was run down in the final strides by Hurricane Lane. Martyn Meade has booked the enigmatic Italian to take the ride again at Ascot, and he'll receive plenty of weight from the older horses around him in the market.

David Egan will once again partner Mishriff, who looked like he needed the run when third on his return to Britain in the Coral-Eclipse. Another possible runner is Wonderful Tonight, who beat Broome to win a red-hot Hardwicke Stakes last time out, despite David Menusier claiming his filly was only 75% fit.

Aidan O'Brien could throw Broome - who won a Group One in France last time out - Mogul and Japan in with Love at Ascot. The final King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes entrant is Addeybb, who could step up to 12 furlongs for the first time after finishing second in the Eclipse.
