2023 Lincoln Odds - Al Mubhir tops Awaal in Doncaster betting

Here's the latest Lincoln betting and a look through the most likely runners.

Simon and Ed Crisford enjoyed a fantastic campaign in 2022 and it's their four-year-old, Awaal who currently heads the market for Saturday's main event. Roger Varian who, like the Crisfords, is searching for his first Lincoln will throw 2.7mGNS purchase Akhu Najla into the mix at Doncaster.

William Haggas is the joint-most successful trainer in the history of this handicap. Haggas will be represented by Al Mubhir, with George Boughey likely to unleash Baradar, who won here at Doncaster on his first start for new connection last autumn.

Charlie Hills will run four-year-old Wanees, with Charlie Fellowes likely to field Atrium. John and Thady Gosden have entered up Unforgotten, who was narrowly beaten in the Lincoln Trial at Wolverhampton by Kevin Philippart De Foy's six-year-old, Alrehb.

Mick Channon kicked off his final season as a trainer with a win in this race 12 months ago, when Johan claimed victory. His son, Jack Channon has taken over the license since and Jack will be represented by last year's Cambridgeshire winner, Majestic. 

Other possible Lincoln runners include Jimi Hendrix for Ralph Beckett, David O'Meara's Bopedro and David Menuisier's Migration, who would carry top-weight if confirmed for Saturday's main event.
