2022 Long Distance Hurdle Entries
Topping the market for Friday's renewal is Dan Skelton's seven-year-old Proschema. Harry Skelton's mount bolted up in the West Yorkshire Hurdle on his latest outing at Wetherby, beating Thomas Darby by ten lengths.
Sitting second in the betting is Nicky Henderson's Champ, who won the Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot on his first start of last season. Paisley Park won the 2019 Long Distance Hurdle here at Newbury and Emma Lavelle's star showed plenty of zest last season, winning the Cleeve Hurdle before a third-place finish in the Stayers' Hurdle at Cheltenham.
Thomas Darby returns to defend his crown, having beaten Paisley Park at Newbury 12 months ago. Jeremy Scott runs Grade One-winning chaser Dashel Drasher. Tom Lacey's Tea Clipper is the sixth and final entrant.
