2025 Commonwealth Cup Entries

Last year's Middle Park and Dewhurst Stakes winner, Shadow Of Light heads this betting heat. Charlie Appleby seemed keen for another crack at a mile following his third-place finish in the 2000 Guineas, but after Ruling Court missed the Epsom Derby, it seems certain he will enter the St James's Palace Stakes, forcing Shadow Of Light to drop back in distance.

Babouche bounced back from a poor reappearance by winning the Lacken Stakes and Ger Lyon's filly will be getting weight from the colts in this Group One. Like the favourite, Jonquil could drop back down to six-furlongs, despite a narrow defeat to Henri Matisse in the French version of the 2000 Guineas.

Whistlejacket drifted down the Royal Ascot betting following his defeat to Babouche in the Lacken Stakes. Ides Of March could also represent Aidan O'Brien, despite two runner-up finishes so far this season.

Arabian Dusk and Big Mojo will both step up to Group One company following second and fourth-place finishes in the Sandy Lane Stakes at Haydock. Group Two winner, Sky Majesty remains prominent in the market, despite a disappointing showing on her reappearance at Chelmsford.

Last year's Queen Mary Stakes winner, Leovanni and recent maiden winner Realign could both carry the Wathnan Racing colours into the first Group One on day four of Royal Ascot. Other potential runners include Arizona Blaze for Amo Racing, Westow Stakes winner Tropical Storm, Richard Hughes' filly Sayidah Dariyan, and Pavilion Stakes runner-up Diablo Rojo.
