The Breeders' Cup is a world-famous horse racing meeting, staged in the United States every November. Over the two days, 14 Grade One prizes will be handed out, with the total prize money for the meet surpassing $35m.

For the second year in a row, the 2025 Breeders' Cup will be held at Del Mar racecourse, in San Diego, California.

Day one of the Breeders' Cup is known as Future Stars Friday, and the card features huge two-year-old races like the Juvenile Turf and the Breeders' Cup Juvenile. Nine Grade One races take place on Saturday, including the Breeders' Cup Mile, Breeders' Cup Turf and the Breeders' Cup Classic.

Top US trainers like Bob Baffert, Chad Brown and Todd Pletcher will point their best horses at the Breeders' Cup. Sierra Leone and Fierceness could clash again in the Breeders' Cup Classic, where they could meet this year's top juveniles Citizen Bull and Immersive. Aidan O'Brien is the winning-most trainer in Breeders' Cup history and he'll have plenty of his big guns earmarked for the 2025 meet. The Breeders' Cup is a two-day series of racing which features some of the best thoroughbreds from all around the world.
