Leopardstown Day 3 Tips
The Leopardstown Christmas Festival reaches its penultimate day on Sunday. Two excellent Grade One races headline proceedings, with Galopin Des Champs and Inothewayurthinkin renewing their rivalry in the Savills Chase.
Here are our best betting tips for day three of the Leopardstown Christmas Festival.

1:20pm Leopardstown - Rising Stars Beginners Chase Tips
With Gordon Elliott's horses going great guns at the moment, I'll be backing PATTER MERCHANT (4/1) to win this fascinating Beginners Chase.
Elliott's six-year-old made his chasing debut at Down Royal in October, finishing 30 lengths behind stablemate Romeo Coolio, who has won two Grade Ones since. Jack Kennedy's mount was then a little too bold in the jumping department at Fairyhouse, but was only beaten a neck by Flicker Of Hope, with favourite Kiss Will a further three lengths adrift in third.
Patter Merchant beat Sounds Victories in a bumper here at Leopardstown, and recorded top five finishes in two valuable handicap hurdles at this venue last season. Elliott's six-year-old certainly looks like he'll be a better chaser than a hurdler, and he could have the measure of Kiss Will, Koktail Divin and chasing debutante, Soldier In Milan.
1:55pm Leopardstown - Christmas Hurdle Tips
Ballyburn and Teahupoo meet again in the first of Sunday's two Grade Ones. Gordon Elliott's star managed to hold off his rival to win his second Hatton's Grace at Fairyhouse, but Ballyburn shaped well in defeat and leads Teahupoo in the market.
The rank outsider of the field is JETARA (66/1), and I could see Jessica Harrington's mare outrunning her odds. Jetara is a former Grade Three winner at this meeting, and placed third in both the Liverpool Hurdle and the Champion Stayers' Hurdle during the spring.
After running well on the level during the autumn, Paul Townend's mount finished third on her return to hurdling in the Lismullen Hurdle. Jetara wasn't suited by making the running that day, and got a little stuck in the mud at Colonel Mustard and The Yellow Clay fought out the finish.
Better ground will certainly suit Harrington's mare, as will this return to three miles. At 66/1, she's worth chancing in the each-way market.

3:05pm Leopardstown - Pertemps Qualifier Tips
Plenty will fancy their chances in this Pertemps Qualifier, including the team behind MILLSTREAM LADY (12/1). Emmet McNamara's mare landed a handicap hurdle at Killarney over the summer, before claiming Listed honours over three miles at Limerick in October.
Millstream Lady took on the geldings in another qualifier at Punchestown last time out. McNamara's grey was a little too far back to mount a real challenge, but saw out the distance well to finish a clear second behind Staffordshire Knot.
Millstream Lady was only upped a pound for that Punchestown run, and Gordon Elliott's winner has bolted up in a better race since. Michael Kenneally is good value for his seven-pound claim, and ground conditions at Leopardstown should be ideal.
