20 Jumps Horses To Follow 2023/24

Ahead of the 2023/24 National Hunt racing season, we've picked out 20 talented horses to follow.

These horses come from the lower-profile yards from around Britain and Ireland. Our list includes talented novice hurdles, up-and-coming chasers, and some horses who may land prestigious Cheltenham Festival races during the jumps racing season.

2023/24 Tracker Horses - Entries and Results

You can track the progress of all 20 horses here on our website.

We'll also send out tracker alerts from the Racing Insider Twitter handle when any of the 20 have been declared to run.

Keen early on. Settled once the pace picked up. Jumped neatly throughout. Cantered into contention and pulled 13 lengths clear on the bridle. Tougher tests to come, but still very impressive.

2022/23 Horses To Follow Results

Two of the 25 horses we picked out last year didn't run. Of the 23 who did, seven didn't manage to win a race.

Ahoy Senor returned an SP of 13/2 when winning the Cotswold Chase. Fern Hill returned the highest winning SP of 15/2. Bonttay, Guetapan Collonges, Jungle Jack and Pembroke recorded multiple victories during successful seasons.

Despite those victories, our 2022/23 Horses To Follow returned a loss of -£25.30 to a £1 level stake. Let's hope this year's crop of horses to follow returns a profit!

2021/22 Horses To Follow Results

While there were a few disappointments, our list of 40 horses to follow last season turned out to be quite fruitful. Of the 40 runners we highlighted, seven didn't make it to the track. The 33 who did managed 37 victories between them - seven of which came at Grade One level. Noble Yeats even went and landed the Grand National, a feat I certainly wasn't expecting!

Note - Our 2021/22 list featured horses from all yards, including Willie Mullins, Paul Nicholls, Gordon Elliott and Nicky Henderson.
