Horses To Follow 2024/25
It was an up-and-down year for my Horses To Follow in 2024/25. I had hoped that Iroko would be the captain of my team, but his entire campaign was geared around one run in the Grand National, where a strong showing was only good enough for fourth.
Handstands proved to be the headline act, winning the Scilly Isles Novices' Chase and the Towton at Ffos Las. Tripoli Flyer landed the Dovecote Novices' Hurdle at Kempton. William Munny claiming Listed glory before finishing second in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle, while Ascending Lark won all four of her starts, including a Listed Handicap at the Punchestown Festival.
All in all, 11 of my 20 to follow won last term, with eight claiming multiple victories. There were plenty of disappointments on that list too though, so hopefully my Horses To Follow in 2025/26 will fare better!
