Olly Murphy Stable Tour 2024/25
🌟 Stable Stars 🌟
Brewin'upastorm
He is going to miss the first half of the season with a niggly injury and I need to get him back for a National Spirit Hurdle all being well.
Go Dante
He ran well in the Welsh Champion Hurdle and he goes for the Greatwood. He has had a wind operation since and, hopefully, he will win a nice handicap hurdle.
Strong Leader
He has very good form and looks unexposed over three miles. The main target in the first half of the season will be the Long Walk and whether we go for a Cleeve Hurdle before the Stayers I am not sure. Hopefully, he is one of the best staying hurdlers we have on this side of the water.
Thunder Rock
Jumping fences isn’t the easiest for him at times, but he’s a classy horse with a bit of boot. We weighed up options (hurdles and chasing) at Wetherby last weekend but in the end, the ground was too quick and he may go to Ascot for the Coral Hurdle now.
➡️ Novice Hurdles
Barlovento
He had a good start at Carlisle and jumps well and stays very well. He should be a staying chaser for the future but, hopefully, he can rank quite highly in novice hurdles before jumping a fence.
Carismatic Soldier
He is a big staying horse who will start in two-and-a-half-mile novice hurdles. He will be a lovely staying chaser in time.
Castle Ivers
He is probably my best bumper horse from last season and he will start off in a novices’ hurdle when the ground eases. He is a horse we love and he jumps very well.
Dangerous Touch
He disappointed me on his first three starts and he is a lot better than he has shown. He will probably appreciate a step up in trip at some point.
Fingle Bridge
He has very good bumper form and missed last season. If he stays sound, he would be an exciting novice hurdler.
Imaginarium
He disappointed at Cheltenham recently and he lacks experience. He is a horse that will win plenty of races when gaining more experience.
Indeevar Bleu
He had one race last season before getting a niggly injury. He is training well and will start off in a maiden hurdle in a month’s time. He has lots of ability.
Jaccours
He had a lovely first run over hurdles finishing fourth and he is going to progress when stepped up in trip. He is a lovely staying horse in the making.
Jackpot D'ainay
He had a nice first run at Uttoxeter and just needs to learn the right way. He will step up to two and a half miles in time and is a lovely horse moving forward.
Junker D'allier
He was very impressive at Carlisle and will keep on improving. He will get two and a half miles as well and is one to keep on the right side of.
Pierrot Jaguen
He is a big staying horse who will run in a staying hurdle in a month’s time on very soft ground.
Static
He is a lovely horse who came from France and ran a cracking race in the Wensleydale Hurdle at Wetherby on Saturday. He has done well since coming to us and he should soon be going one better.
Tintagel Queen
She had a break after having a setback and is well up to winning a mares’ novice hurdle before progressing into handicaps.
Wade Out
He is a sweet horse and he won very well first time out. He is very hard horse to get the bottom of and we will dip our toe in deep water next time. He could be a well above novice hurdler.
Woodland Park
He ran well first time out but lacked a little bit of experience. We will go back for another two-mile maiden hurdle in three weeks’ time. He is a horse that is going to progress with every run.

➡️ Older Hurdlers
Act Of Authority
He was disappointing on his seasonal reappearance at Chepstow and probably wants stepping up in trip and may jump a fence at some time as well.
Alnilam
He settled much better with a first-time hood on at Wetherby on Saturday and ran a very good race. He should win a decent handicap hurdle at some stage this season.
Benassi
He has plenty of ability but is riddled with problems. If he stays sound, he is a horse who could be competitive in a two-and-a-half-mile handicap hurdle.
Hara Kiri
He won his last two handicap hurdles and loves soft ground. He will be ready in three weeks’ time. Hopefully, he is still on an upward trajectory.
Ilanz
He ran very well in a good handicap hurdle at Market Rasen on his last start. He has had a break and will be ready to run in a month’s time.
Itchy Feet
He will start off in a month’s time and will probably staying jumping hurdles in three-mile events.
Itsnoteasy
He won a maiden hurdle on his last start and will have a few runs in handicap hurdles before jumping a fence. Hopefully, he is a horse that is going to be progressive.
Little Miss Dante
She had her first start of the season at Bangor and will come on for that run. She can be competitive in Mares’ Handicap hurdles.
Prince Imperial
He looks a rejuvenated horse and he is full of confidence. Hopefully, he can win again.
Roccos Inspiration
She had a nice break coming into the season before her disappointing run the other day. We’ll get her checked over, but going into this season, we had hoped she would progress.
Sao Carlos
He had an underlying issue in the Summer months but is training well and could be a well-handicapped horse. He should run in about a month’s time.
Space Voyage
She won well at Perth last year before running well at Aintree. She has had trouble with her win but, hopefully, she will keep on progressing.
Vocito
He has been very progressive through the Summer and put up a career best when winning at Stratford on his last start. Hopefully, he is still handicapped to win more races.
➡️ Novice Chaser
Booster Bob
He had a very good start at Ffos Las and he could be a two mile handicap chaser to keep on the right side and he might even sneak into Graded company if he keeps going the right way.
Butch
He had a bad scope and had to miss a novice chase at Carlisle recently but we are waiting to start him off in softer ground in a novice chase. I hope he will rank highly in novice chases.
Damarta
He ran well over fences first time over fences at Carlisle and, hopefully, he will come forward from that.
Ikarak
He looks a lovely staying chaser moving forward. He jumps well and loves heavy ground.
Rambo T
He had a very good first run at Uttoxeter. We will step up in trip and he goes to Warwick on Tuesday.
Resplendent Grey
He had a very good start at Uttoxeter jumping well. He is very progressive and we will remove his hood going forward. He might go for the Rising Stars at Wincanton if the ground is on the good side.
Roccovango
He looks progressive over fences and, hopefully, there is more room for improvement stepping up in trip.
Shallow River
He did well for Milton Harris last season and jumps a fence ok. We will mix it up between hurdles and fences throughout the season.
The Four Sixes
He has improved again over the Summer and will go for a novices’ handicap chase as soon as the ground eases. He is ready to run.
Traveling Soldier
He disappointed on his second run but he is a horse that is going to improve when he goes handicapping. He jumps well and could be a nice handicap chaser moving forward.
Westerninthepark
I was very pleased with him at Stratford and he will go to Cheltenham for another handicap chase at the Paddy Power meeting. Hopefully, he is going to be progressive over fences.

➡️ Older Chasers
Chasing Fire
He ran at Cheltenham recently and will come on for that run. He looks on a competitive mark and, hopefully, he can win a nice race at some point this year.
Contemplatemyfaith
He had a setback last season but looks like he could be a nice staying handicap chaser. He loves soft ground and a big galloping track.
Doctor Ken
He missed last season and he is a nice big staying handicap chaser who will start off in about three weeks’ time. He doesn’t want the ground too soft and hopefully he will do well in staying chases.
Grandads Cottage
He goes for the Sefton and he jumped well in the Topham and will, hopefully, have an each-way chance.
Gunsight Ridge
He finished last season on a good note and he loves soft ground. He is a good handicap chaser on his day and we will mix it between two and two and a half miles with him.
Sure Touch
He has been ultra progressive and won the Summer Plate on his last start. He will go for the Sefton at Aintree.
Ukantango
He missed the first part of the season due to an injury he picked last year. He is well handicapped but wants good ground.
➡️ Bumper Horses
Orderoftheday
He is a nice staying horse and he will start off in a slow ground bumper in three weeks’ time.
Unamed
He is a half-brother to Jonbon and does everything nicely. He will start off in a bumper in six weeks’ time. He is a horse we like a lot.
