Jamie Snowden Stable Tour 2024/25

🌟 Stable Stars 🌟

Colonel Harry

Colonel Harry was obviously Grade 1-placed over hurdles and fences and won a Grade 2 over fences. We will start off by giving him a prep run. I was hoping to go for the Old Roan at Aintree but with Ahoy Senor in the race it put us out of the handicap, which wasn’t ideal. We will certainly get a prep run into him and then go for the Coral Gold Cup - the same sort of route we went with Datsalrightgino. He looks really well, and I am delighted with him.

Ga Law

He has been a legend over the years, winning the Paddy Power Gold Cup, the Rising Stars at Wincanton, and another nice handicap at Cheltenham in January on Trials Day. He had a lovely comeback run when finishing second at Chepstow and is going to go for the Paddy Power at Cheltenham.

You Wear It Well

She has been a legend and is Grade 2-winning hurdler and a Cheltenham Festival-winning mare. She came out last season and won a Listed race before running well in Graded company after. She is going novice chasing and jumps fences very well. She is going to start off in a Listed race at Bangor in November.

➡️ Novice Hurdles

Audacious Annie

She is a sister to You Wear It Well. She won on her debut at Wetherby, looking pretty smart. We stepped her up to Listed company on her next start, but she just went lame there. She had a few growing issues with her knees - nothing sinister - but she is jumping hurdles well. We might actually start her off in the Listed bumper at Cheltenham at the Paddy Power meeting before going hurdling.

Bellas Bridge

She won a bumper last season, looking very good, and she likes soft ground. She ran third on her debut over hurdles and ran a nice race, and she will appreciate going up in trip and will improve for softer ground. Hopefully, we can target the Mares’ Final at Newbury in March for her.

Epic West

He is a pointer by Mount Nelson and is closely related to Snoopy Loopy. He should stay very well and is a brother to Complete Unknown who won the EBF Final, and he will go straight hurdling.

Fabulous Fortune

She is a lovely, four-year-old filly who came from the point-to-point field. The form of her race looks pretty strong - the first two fetched plenty of money and she was third. She is out of a sister to a 130-rated mare, and she will probably start in a bumper before going hurdling.

Golden Maverick

He is by Zarak and was a good Flat horse for Ian Williams. He won the Grey Bomber Series Final at Musselburgh, and we will start off over two miles with him, but we will step him up in trip as the season goes on.

Handlethekettle

He did very well for us when winning on his debut at Worcester and ran very well in the Persian War. It was probably a bit much at this stage of his career, and he was still a bit green and immature. He will be winning races over hurdles, but I look forward to seeing him over fences in time.

Hollygrove Cha Cha

She is dual bumper winner from last season and jumps hurdles very nicely. She is an exciting filly to go novice hurdling with this season.

Julius Des Pictons

He is by Cokoriko and was placed in three bumpers before winning a bumper in France. He was placed over hurdles as well and will go novice hurdling for us this season. He is an exciting one to look out for.

La Marquise

La Marquise is the first Beaumec De Houelle to win in the UK, while she won twice last season and finished third in the Grade 2 mares’ race at the festival. She jumps very nicely and made a winning start over hurdles at Ludlow on Thursday. She looks an exciting prospect for hurdling this season.

Latopix

She is another Beaumec De Houelle filly, and she won an APQS bumper at Vichy on her debut when beating a couple of subsequent winners. She looks capable of winning under a penalty before going up in class.

Laurens Bay

He is a lovely Youmzain horse, and he was second in an Irish point-to-point before coming to us. He won a bumper and was quite green when finishing second on his first start over hurdles. He will progress enormously and is an exciting young horse.

Marche D'aligre

He is a lovely three-year-old gelding out of a black-type winning mare. His brother was a 141-rated hurdler, and this chap was rated 81 on the Flat over in France. He stays a mile and a half and likes soft ground. He should be a nice novice hurdler at two miles this season and will start off in the middle of November.

Maximum Offers

He is a brother to Scorpion Sid, who won four of his six starts for us. He was second in a four-year-old point-to-point and is a nice recruit to the team.

Roe And Co

He won a point-to-point and will start over hurdles at Christmas time. He looks a good stayer in the making.

Wendigo

He is a beautiful horse who won two bumpers last season and looked really good. He got beaten on his hurdling debut but didn’t do a great deal wrong and will improve for that, and he can progress as the season goes on. He is a nice young horse.

➡️ Older Hurdlers

Hardy Du Seuil

He was a Grade 2 novice chaser and won a good handicap at Sandown last year. The season before last was a bit of write off as he had kissing spines and gastric ulcers, but we have them sorted out and there should be a good handicap hurdle for him - something like the Imperial Cup or the County Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

Milldam

He has been a star really, having taken some time to come to himself over hurdles. He won three last season on heavy ground and over two miles, and there should be more to come from him.

Reach For The Moon

He was a very decent Flat horse, but he took a while to come to himself over hurdles. He didn’t have the best of luck and finished lame on his first start before getting carried out at Stratford. He has won his last two and has an opening mark of 114, which he hopefully can progress from.

➡️ Novice Chaser

Doc McCoy

He was placed in bumpers and won a novice hurdle before placing under a penalty. He is bred to go chasing and stays very well. He jumps very nicely, and I am looking forward to seeing him in novice handicap chases this season.

Idy Wood

He has been a little star, winning a bumper and over hurdles and placing in two Grade 2s. He always promised to be a better chaser, and he jumped well on his handicap chase debut at Kempton on Sunday to win nicely. He should progress.

Roger Pol

He has been a legend of a horse and is a very nice individual. He is a brother to Adrastos, who won seven races for us, and he looked very good last week when winning over fences at Southwell.

Torneo

Torneo was a good juvenile hurdler and wasn’t beaten far by Sir Gino at Kempton over Christmas before winning at Wetherby. He is going four-year-old chasing, and he will improve for finishing third on his chase debut.

➡️ Older Chasers

Farceur Du Large

He won the Grand Military Gold Cup and the Royal Artillery Gold Cup last year, and he will go back and try to do the double-double this year. He could also run in the Cross Country at the Cheltenham Festival.

Git Maker

He has been a star over the years, winning half of his races over hurdles and fences. He ran very well last season, winning on his comeback and then finishing second in the Kim Muir to a subsequent Grade 1 winner. He was a good third in the Scottish National on ground that was too quick for him, as he loves soft ground. Hopefully he will have one prep run and then go for the Welsh National.

Passing Well

By Coastal Path, he was very one-paced as a novice hurdler in the Challow, but he won over fences last season. He subsequently picked up a niggly injury but is now back in and is nicely handicapped for chases.

Regarde

He was a progressive novice chaser last season, winning twice, and won on his reappearance at Kempton recently. He looks the type to develop into a Racing Post contender.

Super Survivor

He has been a nice horse for us, winning over hurdles and fences. We stepped into the Welsh National probably a year too soon, and his season fell apart after that. We are currently rebuilding his confidence on the back of that, but he might be an Eider horse.

➡️ Bumper Horses

Admiral Stewart

Admiral Stewart is a lovely horse, and he obviously won his point-to-point. He looks a proper staying chaser for the future, but we thought we would start him out in a bumper. He ran well and just needed the run a little bit, but he is going to go novice hurdling now and is one to look forward to. I would have thought he would be quick enough to step up to two and a half, but he is going to be a three-mile chaser along the line.

Cinquenta

He is by Cokoriko out of a prolific Flat winner. He is from a family of jumps winners too, and he looks a lovely, exciting horse to go in bumpers this year.

Fresh Perspective

He is a lovely horse by New Approach from a Juddmonte family. He won a point-to-point at Milton St Andrews for Will Biddick, and he looks a really lovely young horse. He has done plenty of work and will run in a bumper in the next couple of weeks.

Garde My Guinness

She is a sister to Guinness Affair, who won seven of his 10 starts for us. She looks a nice filly and will start off in a bumper in the spring.

Jack N Jones

She is unraced for us but won a point-to-point, and she is a nice filly who will start off in a bumper.

Kosac D'oudairies

He is by Castle Du Berlais and out of a four-time Flat winner and a brother to a Listed jumps winner in France. He is a nice sort and won his point-to-point. He will start out in a bumper in the next couple of weeks.

Lor Express

He is a brother to a good horse of ours in Passing Well, and he is a lovely, big individual. He will start out in a bumper in the spring.

Queen Of The Vale

She won two bumpers during the summer and looked pretty impressive. She didn’t beat a great deal, but she will run in the Listed bumper at the Paddy Power meeting.

Tiptoptim

He is by Mount Nelson out of a sister to Grumeti, and he bolted up in his Irish point-to-point. He is another who will start off in a bumper in November.
