The 2026 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe headlines a sensational card in Paris on Sunday. Along with Europe's most prestigious flat race, five further Group One races will be run at Longchamp, with around £4m in prize money set to be handed out.

Here are our best betting tips for the major races on Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe Day at Longchamp...

Longchamp Tips - Sunday 4th October

12:31pm Longchamp - Qatar Prix Marcel Boussac Tips

Considering she was sent off at 11/10 to win a Group Two on her most recent start, DATA'S (6/1) current price doesn't make much sense to me.

This daughter of Lope De Vega handed Christopher Head his third successive victory in the Prix Six Perfections when she comfortably beat Queen Of The Day in that Group Three. Maxime Guyon found plenty of trouble from stall one early in the Prix d'Aumale and repeatedly ran into the back of the fading front-runner Malikat Al Remal as he attempted to challenge down the home straight.

Head has a good recent record in the Boussac, winning it with Blue Rose Cen in 2022 before Green Sense followed Diamond Necklace home 12 months ago. Data has already won over this one mile trip, and the fast pace that's sure to be set by the Ballydoyle outsiders won't faze her at all.

1:09pm Longchamp - Qatar Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere Tips

It's really hard to get away from FOLSOM BLUES (7/4). His performance in the National Stakes was nothing short of sensational.

Joey Sheridan's mount was a little overlooked in the betting as punters piled into stablemate Monogram. Folsom Blues tanked his way into contention from the rear of the field. Sheridan took a look under his arm for dangers before unleashing his mount at the two-furlong pole, and O'Brien's colt sprinted clear of the staying-on Monogram to win by six lengths.

That performance, combined with his narrow defeat to the brilliant filly Sun Goddess in the Phoenix Stakes, makes Folsom Blues the obvious pick in terms of form. A wide draw in stall ten shouldn't matter much given his running style, and Joseph has booked the superb Mickael Barzalona to take the ride.

1:47pm Longchamp - Prix de l'Abbaye Tips

I never have a serious punt in the Abbaye, and this year's renewal looks particularly weak. The top three in the betting are all unproven above Group Three level, so I'll take them on with COVER UP (25/1).

Simon Crisford's six-year-old ran out a half-length winner of the Sapphire Stakes at the Curragh three starts back. Cover Up hasn't finished better than ninth in his three starts at Group One level this term, but he wasn't beaten far in either the King Charles III Stakes, the Nunthorpe or the Flying Five.

I'm sure William Buick would have preferred a lower draw than stall nine, especially as the front-running Ponntos has been drawn against the rail in stall one. However, Cover Up boasts more than enough seasonal form to suggest that he can be competitive in the most underwhelming Group One on Sunday's card.

3:50pm Longchamp - Prix de l'Opera Longines Tips

Aventure is a multiple Group One winner and a former Arc runner-up, so she warrants massive respect. As does Precise, who has always raced like she'd appreciate a longer trip despite her Classic success earlier in the season.

I'm going to take a chance on the improving MISS SCOTT (13/2). John Gosden is superb at helping improving fillies develop, and this daughter of Night Of Thunder looked every inch a Group One contender when scoring at the Curragh.

Miss Scott made it three wins from five career starts when landing the Snow Fairy at the end of August. Oisin Murphy gave his mount too much to do when second in the Upavon Stakes on her previous start, but Christophe Soumillon didn't make the same mistake at the Curragh, pushing Miss Scott alongside the front-running Faiyum with two furlongs to travel before stretching four lengths clear on the run to the line.

Soumillon said after the race that he felt Miss Scott pulling herself up once she hit the front. That sign of inexperience could worry some punters, but it also indicates that there's loads of potential still to be tapped from this strapping filly. She's most certainly a big danger to the proven Group One performers.

4:25pm Longchamp - Prix de la Foret Tips

THESECRETADVERSARY (5/2) handed Fozzy Stack his first European Group One success when winning the Prix Jean Prat earlier in the season, and I see no reason why this talented three-year-old can't end an excellent campaign with a second Group One success.

Stack's colt is unbeaten over seven furlongs this term. Thesecretadversary thrashed Power Blue in the Red Rocks Stakes and bounced back from defeats in both the British and Irish 2000 Guineas by landing the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot. Christophe Soumillon took the ride for the first time in the Prix Jean Prat, where Thesecretadversary held on gamely from the front to repel True Love, Nightime and Samangan.

For the third time this season, Stack's stable star didn't see out a mile on his most recent run in the Jacques le Marois. Soumillon's mount is much more comfortable over this seven-furlong trip, and Thesecretadversary beat his three main rivals in the betting when landing that Group One at Deauville.
