RacingInsider Daily Tips 2024/25 Final P&L - 202 points profit over 12 months
The Daily Tips recap for 2024/25 highlights a successful year with an impressive profit of 540.06 points. Initially, a shift to focusing on single odds selections instead of multiple bets played a crucial role in achieving consistent monthly profits. While summer months showed slight slowdowns, strategic bets during key events like Royal Ascot and Cheltenham Festival ensured overall positive performance. Despite minor losses in January and February, the strategy maintained a 32% strike rate for NAPs. Anticipation for the next season is high as changes lay ahead due to personal commitments.

Final profit and loss standings for the RacingInsider Daily Tips for 2024/25, which ended with us recording a 12-month profit of 202.53 points.
Before the 2024 Cheltenham Festival, I used to put up a daily NAP, a Double, a Treble and a Lucky 15. I enjoyed doing this, but found it was too challenging to land the multiple bets regularly and would rather focus on single odds selections.
The week after that year's Cheltenham Festival finished, I began this new form of Daily Tips, where I would advise single bets on horses running on the flat or over jumps using a points system. 0.5 points being the lowest stake and 3 points being the highest.
2024/25 Daily Tips Final Profit And Loss
I managed to hit the ground running last spring, recording solid profits for the first three months. June saw the Daily Tips make a huge profit of +85.07 points, thanks mainly to another excellent Royal Ascot, which is fast becoming my most profitable meeting of the season!
While the winners slowed down a little through the summer, I still managed to record steady month-on-month profits. September proved particularly profitable, with a +56.74 return on investment, and December saw us make +47.21 points in profit.
The final three months of the year were tricky. Despite a solid return of almost +20 points for the 2025 Cheltenham Festival, we made losses in January, February and March, ending this period of tipping with 5 losing months, and 8 profitable months.
In the end, the Daily Tips recorded a profit of 202.53 points for 2024/25. I also ended the year with a 32% strike for my NAP Of The Day, which I don't think is too bad considering I rarely back horses shorter than 5/4 and I've NAP'd horses at odds as long as 5/1 and 6/1.
Let's hope for more of the same in 2025/26. This year might be a little different, as my wife and I are expecting our first child in early July, and I'll be taking a few weeks off for paternity leave.
