Three races to watch on Sunday, as Musselburgh stages a top-quality card.

Along with a handful of races from day two of the Dublin Racing Festival, Musselburgh will again feature on the ITV schedule this Sunday. Five races will be shown live from Musselburgh, including the Scottish equivalents of the Triumph Hurdle and the Champion Chase.

Here are our top three tips for Sunday's ITV races at Musselburgh.

1:20pm Musselburgh - Scottish Triumph Hurdle Tips

Paul Nicholls' horses generally run well here at Musselburgh and Harry Cobden travels up to ride LIARI in the opener. Nicholls' juvenile ran three times on the flat in France and has so far won both of his hurdles starts on British soil.

Cobden's mount toughed it out well from the front to land the Listed Juvenile Hurdle at Aintree last time out, which is comfortably the best piece of form on offer here. Liari should be very hard to beat.

2:25pm Musselburgh - Scottish Supreme Novices' Hurdle Tips

A bit of a tear-away during his time with John McConnell, Gavin Cromwell seems to have settled HYPOTENUS down a little this season. Cromwell's recruit bolted up on his stable debut at Gowran Park and although he's been comfortably beaten on both of his last two starts, they were higher-quality races than this.

Titanium Moon's record is impressive, but the horses Hypotenus has been running against in recent starts are far better than the British novices that Donald McCain's six-year-old has beaten. If Keith Donoghue gets into a nice rhythm, then I expect he'll run really well.

3:35pm Musselburgh - Scottish Champion Chase Tips

With Olly Murphy's stable in good form, I'm happy to give another chance to THUNDER ROCK. Murphy's six-year-old was sent off as the favourite for the December Gold Cup at Cheltenham last time out but, not for the first time, his jumping fell apart around Prestbury Park and Sean Bowen pulled his mount up well before the finish.

Away from Cheltenham, Thunder Rock has been impressive over fences, winning good races at Sandown and Carlisle, as well as placing in the Scilly Isles and the Future Champions Novices' Chase at Ayr last season. Murphy has fitted cheek-pieces for the first time and Gavin Sheehan, who rode Fugitif to victory in the December Gold Cup, fills in for the injured Bowen.
