The RacingInsider Daily Tips for 2025/26 concluded with a total profit of 89.54 points. Despite a challenging year following a highly successful 2024/25 season, the year concluded with high points, thanks to significant successes like the Cheltenham Festival. Although there were tough months with losses, the tips service rebounded, showcasing effective strategies and recovery. Key highlights included a robust performance in March with a 76.15 point profit and standout performances at tracks like Haydock. Despite setbacks, the service aims to continue its free offerings in the new 2026/27 season.

Final profit and loss standings for the RacingInsider Daily Tips for 2025/26, which ended with us recording a 12-month profit of 89.54.

After the 2024 Cheltenham Festival came to an end, I set up this form of Daily Tips. I advise single bets on horses running on the flat or over jumps using a points system. 0.5 points being the lowest stake and 3 points being the highest.

2024/25 was a huge success, ending the year with a profit of 202.53 points, and a 32% strike rate with my NAP of the day. My betting year runs from the start of April until the end of March. Here are my final Profit and Loss results for the Daily Tips in 2025/26.

I always knew that 2024/25 was going to be a tough year to follow, so, in the end, I was glad to come out of the last 12 months with a respectable profit.

My wife and I welcomed our first child into the world at the end of June. Juggling full-time work from home and helping my wife look after our newborn has been tough, especially as several complications arose in the weeks and months following the birth.

I'm in no way trying to use this as an excuse for some pretty shoddy tipping at times. There have been periods where I've struggled, especially at the beginning of the National Hunt season. November and December yielded a combined loss of almost -40 points - despite an 11-point return on Paddy Power Gold Cup day at Cheltenham.

The most disappointing meeting of the season for me had to be Royal Ascot. Last year, I enjoyed five solid days, securing just over 25 points in profit. Royal Ascot 2025 was, however, an unmitigated disaster, and I ended the meeting with zero winners, three placers and a loss of -17.50 points.

I managed to recover those losses during the final weeks of June, and enjoyed a productive summer once I returned from paternity leave. One of my most profitable meetings of the year was the Sprint Cup meeting at Haydock, where wins for Hot Flame, Ata Rangi and Bow Echo helped me complete those three days with a profit of 15.95 points.

In the end, my entire betting year hinged on the Cheltenham Festival. After a tricky first three days, it seemed like the Daily Tips was heading towards a negative return for 2025/26. Thankfully, Apolon De Charnie handed us a 50/1 winner at the start of Gold Cup day, and he was followed into the winner's enclosure by Wilful, Gaelic Warrior and Air Of Entitlement. That 42-point return on day four at Cheltenham thrust us firmly into the red.

Eight winners in the final week of March helped us end the month with a profit of 76.15 points, thus ending the year with total of +89.54. An end-of-year ROI of 8.6% won't set the world alight, but considering we're a free tipping service and five of the 12 months were losing months, I was pleased with the final total.

The Daily Tips for 2026/27 are already underway. The Grand National meeting is the first big Festival that I'll cover, and judging from the Worst Performing Tracks table above, I should have a much more successful three days at Aintree this year than last!

Thanks to anyone who has been following the Daily Tips, which are posted every day on @RacingInsider__

Best of luck to all for the new flat season and beyond. Happy punting, and always remember, bet what you can afford to lose!
