After a poor run on his hurdles debut at Cheltenham in October, TWINJETS has recorded two easy victories. Milton Harris' star came through to beat two future winners next time out at Leicester, before giving Twin Power a sound thrashing under a penalty on his latest effort at Plumpton.
Twinjets will have to give Twin Power twice as much weight in this handicap, but I'd be surprised if he wasn't far better than this opening mark of 121. He should have the class to cope with 12-0.

John McConnell's raiders always have to be respected and Ben Harvey's mount, DRUMBEAR seems to have plenty going for him. McConnell's seven-year-old won twice over hurdles in Britain last season, including a lengthy victory here at Musselburgh last January.
Despite a few sticky jumps, Drumbear managed to score on his chase debut at Limerick after Christmas, where he claimed a five-length victory over Limerick Lace, who's bolted up by eight lengths since. The British handicapper has handed Drumbear what seems a fairly lenient opening handicap mark of 138 and Harvey will take five pounds off his back.

Sandown Park has named this handicap in honour of DOLOS, who's won this race three times and finished a close second twice since making his Sandown debut back in 2018.
Paul Nicholls' ten-year-old came into this race in poor form last season and still managed to thrash Frero Banbou by four lengths. In contrast, Dolos has run fairly well on both of his outings in Graded races this term and Harry Cobden's mount is rated just three pounds higher than last year.

On the back of that excellent win in the Scottish Borders National up at Kelso in December, FLOWER OF SCOTLAND has every chance of contending in another big staying handicap.
Sandy Thomson's mare was backed into favouritism that day and ran out an impressive winner, easing down late on and still crossing the line six lengths clear of her closest rival. Flower Of Scotland remains lightly raced over fences and she had no trouble seeing out this sort of distance on even softer ground at Kelso.

Dan Skelton's runners always seem to jump well around Wetherby and it's hard to see past BALLYGRIFFINCOTTAGE at the head of the betting. Harry Skelton's charge was much the best of these over hurdles and jumped nicely as he thrashed Beauport and Quel Destin on his only chase start of the season at Haydock. Stepping back up to three miles will only bring about further improvement.

It's very easy to make a case for REMASTERED, who bolted up in a Pertemps Qualifier at Aintree on his reappearance this season. David Pipe's star was then narrowly beaten in the Coral Gold Cup at Newbury, before going on to trounce a decent field over fences at Kempton, where he missed the break badly but still managed to win by four lengths.
Remastered will run off a hurdles mark that's ten pounds higher than what he won off at Aintree in November. Yet, this rating of 142 is still ten pounds lower than his mark over fences and Tom Scudamore's mount boasts a fantastic record going right-handed.

I'm keen on the chances of LEBOWSKI, who comes into this handicap on the back of a career-best effort on his reappearance. Michael Scudamore's charge kicked off his novice campaign with two impressive victories, before finding life a bit tougher in two Graded races during the spring.
Lebowski was sent off as a 9/2 shot on his return to action at Wetherby in December, where Luca Morgan's mount tanked along just behind the pace, before scooting three lengths clear on the run to the line. The handicapper has shoved Lebowski's mark up by seven pounds for that victory, but I feel like there's more to come from this lightly-raced eight-year-old.
Having ended his first season over fences with two impressive handicap victories, CASTLE ROBIN continued his progression with a fine run in the Edinburgh Gin Handicap on his reappearance at Kelso. Charlie Longsdon's eight-year-old kept on well to finish fourth that day, crossing the line 11 lengths behind two very classy rivals in Sounds Russian and Aye Right.
Paul O'Brien's mount was pulled up very early at Cheltenham in November, having been badly hampered by a faller at the fourth fence. Longsdon has given his star 80 days to get over that disappointment and I'm expecting Castle Robin to run well on the back of that break.
