CAPITAL GUARANTEE (11/8) has now won two of his three starts this season and the style in which he won at Thirsk last week suggests there's much more to come this term.
David O'Meara's gelding bounced back from a winless campaign in 2024 by scoring on his reappearance at Catterick. Following a tough run from a tricky draw at Musselburgh, Capital Guarantee blitzed a decent field at Thirsk on Saturday, powering two-and-a-half lengths clear without being asked a serious question.
Capital Guarantee is due to go up to 85 for that victory, but a five-pound penalty, combined with Cian Horgan's claimer means the favourite is effectively running off the same mark of 75 today. He should go in again.
