Our tipsters will put up a Daily Double of horse racing tips every day of the week. Our double usually consists of our Next Best and Treble selections, and both join forces with our NAP to make up that day's treble. Sometimes, if there's a big evening meeting, we'll pick out our best two bets from that card to make up our Double.

Friday's Horse Racing Double Tips (July 17th)

4:10pm Newbury - Social Symbol

Won nicely on debut at Ripon before going into the Norfolk Stakes as a 33/1 outsider. Started slowly and found himself trapped wide at the rear with two furlongs to travel, but picked up well to record some rapid closing fractions and finish fourth behind the excellent Orthodox. Full brother to a top American miler, so this step up in trip looks sure to suit. Could claim Listed honours this afternoon.

7:50pm Hamilton - Superior Choice

Two from two this season, winning maidens at Leicester and on the July Course. Cruised to victory last time out, hitting the line strongly to justify odds of 1/3. By top sire Dubawi and the first foal out of Loving Dream, winner of the Ribblesdale Stakes and the Group One Prix de Royallieu. Bred to develop into a top-class middle-distance performer.
