A Lucky 15 is a bet made up of four selections. Backing a Lucky 15 means that punters are in effect placing 15 bets at once. Betters are backing four single bets, six doubles, four trebles and the four-fold accumulator when they place a Lucky 15 bet.

A Yankee is another type of sports bet, consisting of four selections. A Yankee is almost the same as a Lucky 15, but it only consists of 11 bets compared to 15, as bettors are not backing the four single bets.

Friday's Each-Way Lucky 15 Tips & Horse Racing Acca (October 9th)

1:15pm Newmarket - Armor Supreme

ARMOR SUPREME is a filly I've taken a shine to this season, and Diego Dias' raider looks overpriced in Friday's opening Group Three. A winner at Goodwood and runner-up in the Marygate, Armor Supreme bounced back from a disappointing Queen Mary effort to land a Listed contest at the Curragh, before finishing a creditable third behind Drazinda in the Prix d'Arenberg. Fillies have a strong record in the Cornwallis Stakes, and Rossa Ryan's mount has plenty of pace drawn on her side of the track.

2:05pm York - Sanbona Warrior

SANBONA WARRIOR looks overpriced after finishing second to subsequent Group Three winner Fuel The Jet in a handicap last time out. William Knight's juvenile was held up at the rear before following the winner through and finishing strongly. Danny Tudhope will need to secure a handier position at York, especially on fairly good ground, but Sanbona Warrior is more than capable of mounting a challenge if things fall into place.

3:12pm Chepstow - Hamlet's Night

I'm not totally sure why HAMLET'S NIGHT is so unfancied in the market for the Welsh Champion Hurdle. James Owen's five-year-old returns to hurdling following a surprise Flat victory at Yarmouth, having enjoyed an excellent autumn over obstacles last season. Hamlet's Night won two maiden hurdles before going close in the Masterson Holdings Hurdle and the Elite Hurdle at Wincanton. A handicap mark of 128 looks manageable, and Jonny Burke's mount could easily outrun his odds.

3:30pm Newmarket - Decade Of Time

I backed DECADE OF TIME when he was beaten a head by Turty Tree in last month's Heritage Handicap at Ascot, and I'm keen to stick with Jack Channon's colt in the Old Rowley Cup. Stepping up to 12 furlongs for the first time, Decade Of Time was outpaced around the bend before rallying strongly and doing his best work in the final furlong. George Bass' mount has been raised a couple of pounds for that effort, but this lightly raced three-year-old remains well handicapped and should have more improvement to come over this distance.
