2:27pm Ascot - Docklands

DOCKLANDS can never be discounted around Ascot, despite a below-par effort in the Queen Anne at the Royal Meeting. Harry Eustace's stable star looked rusty after a 50-day break, but his course record is outstanding, and George Wood could be rewarded with a much stronger showing this time.

2:52pm Newmarket - Wechaad

WECHAAD is 7lb better off with Moonfall after their Britannia clash, where he never enjoyed a smooth passage from the rear. Ryan Moore is a notable booking for Roger Varian, and the July Course could suit this improving three-year-old much better than Ascot.

3:25pm Newmarket - Great Acclaim

Eight of the last ten Bunbury Cup winners returned a single-figure SP, and a high draw is another positive for GREAT ACCLAIM in stall 11. Eve Johnson Houghton's gelding has gone close in three major handicaps this season, remains on a mark of 100, and looks primed to land another valuable prize.

3:45pm York - Raammee

I put up RAAMMEE at 20/1 when the entries were revealed, and Roger Varian's improving gelding remains the one to beat. He shaped well in two Sandown handicaps over a mile, is 3lb well in at the weights, and this step up to ten furlongs looks sure to unlock further improvement.
